I mostly use the cup option and I have my coffee ready in less than 5 minutes. It was definitely a bit of a challenge to learn how to work it in the beginning but the booklet helped out with that! The carafe also works great and incredibly fast. My only wish is that it had a smaller coffee cup option since it starts at 6. However, my fix for that is to limit the amount of water in the reservoir.

Best of both worlds and simple to use

The shared water tank is really nice. Just keep that filled and you're ready to go for a full pot or just a quick cup. The buttons on top have duel purpose, either choosing the number of cups in the pot or size of your single cup to brew. Pretty simple!
