stopped working 1 year 3 months after purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Annoyingly, this coffee maker stopped working after only a 1 year and 3 months.. Since 3 months past warranty, Keurig won't replace item and offered a 25% discount towards a new one. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this purchase as coffee makers in the past have lasted 5-10 years. On top of this issue, we mainly used k-cups side, which made an ok cup of coffee, but I never felt that the carafe brewed a very good cup of coffee. It also cannot use a gold filter so that's yet another annoyance, you need to use paper filters which I think changes the coffee taste. Overall very disappointed!

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased November 2023, by April 2024 it was dead. During the few short months it did work it was infuriating, getting more coffee on the counter than in the cup. Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy this coffee maker.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this coffee maker. This is my 3rd item, as they seem to last about a year. I am giving this one last try, in hopes I have just been unlucky so far.

Worked for 10 days
|Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to upgrade from a drip coffee maker to this and at first I was very happy, and it made excellent coffee! After 10 days i cleaned the unit by running white vinegar through it. Two days later it made the most disgusting thing I've ever drank, and then it never turned on again. I was floored that this just stopped working. I exchanged the product for a Ninja coffee maker and no problems so far!

Disappointing. Waste of Money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely disappointed by the performance of my new Keurig machine. I was excited to be able to enjoy both regular drip coffee and single-cup brews with this machine. Now, it is completely out of commission. I purchased the machine in April, and it failed just two months later. I am frustrated that I am unable to return or replace it. Considering the reputation and price of Keurig products, I expected this machine to last much longer – at least a year. I also believe that Best Buy should allow me to return or replace the item, as it failed just two months after purchase through no fault of my own.

Dead after just 6 months, G.S. Warranty is a Joke.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quit working after 5 months and had to return the unit. It stopped working after just 5 months and that was with only using filtered water in the unit for the entirety of ownership. I bought the 2 year Geek Squad warranty to cover it. I was told upon return that if I wanted the replacement unit to have the warranty I had already purchased for a 2 year term that it would need to be repurchased after just 6 months of a supposed 2 year coverage term. So not only was this Kurig KDuo a dud but the warranty is apparently no better. This along with a few other reasons is why I will no longer be shopping at or with Best Buy. Their phone support is almost completely automated and when you do get through after waiting 10 mins or longer expect to be disconnected/hung up on at least once and then starting the waiting/hold process all over again. It would appear that buying in bulk as well as older units has a definite effect on quality of product. This combined with becoming far to political has led me to the decision that my money is better spent elsewhere.

Keurig Coffee Makers - poor quality now
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 7 Apr 23. Died today, 12 May 24 This is my third Keurig in a row to die within 18 months of purchase. And, yes, I take care of them. Avoid these coffee makers like the plague. Very cheaply built now.

Fancy bland
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I figured Keurig would make good coffee, but the other brands do it better, even with k-cups! I bought this in May and it didn't even last the whole year. We descaled it 2 or 3 times since we bought it and now it is giving us a 1r error message and wont do anything. I'll call tech support today, but the coffee maker this replaced still works after 3.5 years. But how was the coffee when it did work? Kinda bland actually. I was able to do a direct comparison since it broke and I dusted off our old Hamilton Beach Flex brew. The Flex Brew make a much for flavorful coffee and I was using k-cups from the same box. This machine is also ridiculously complex to use. Just making a regular pot requires too many button presses. When my parents came over they couldn't figure it out at all. I'd recommend the Flex Brew over this any day. Better coffee, easier to use, and last more that SIX MONTHS!!!

Broke after 6 months
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They really need to bring back the old Duo models with the carafe because these new models are AWFUL!!! I bought one for myself & one for my sister for Christmas. Both have broken within 6 & 7 months of use! I had my previous one for 11 years and it was amazing. These newer ones are just garbage.

Garbage
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase this only if you like spending nearly $200 every year or so. Let me start by saying, we never drank much coffee. We had a small pot and started to drink a little more working from home, so we decided to upgrade to a Keurig. In the end of 2020, we purchased the Keurig K-Duo and it worked fine for two months, but again - we rarely made coffee - MAYBE a pot a week and that was generous. After 2 months it started asking us to constantly descale. We tried the steps, but the light would not clear and it would not make coffee. I called customer service and they were great - they sent a new one right away (because it was under warranty). The new one has been working well for over a year, but again, there were times we would go weeks without making coffee and other times we would make a pot per week. We were not frequent coffee drinkers. However, in the past few months, we've wanted to get away from diet soda more and started drinking more coffee. Definitely not a pot per day, but probably 2 or 3 days per week. We rarely used the K-cups. Last week, it stopped making a full pot - maybe 3/4 or less. Then, it asked us to descale. We started the process on the K-cup side and that worked fine. Then moved onto the carafe. It would start running and then would stop. We probably shut the machine off and restarted the process at least 30 times yesterday, including completely dumping it and just using vinegar to descale. We tried all night long and now into this morning. Last night I called customer service and we had done every trouble-shooting idea they suggested already. It did not work. So, the rep (who was very nice and patient) told us the warranty was no longer good and he was out of ideas for the device, but if I called this morning I could get 20% off of a new device probably. I thought about it, but the thought of going through this again, even sooner probably now that we are drinking more coffee, is unappealing. For the high price tag, the quality should be much better. Best Buy was offering a sale on the Ninja Dual and I bought that last night. It will be here at the end of the week. I have confidence in that product since I own a Foodi. I will stick with that brand. In summary, Keurig's customer service is great, but the quality of their products and the high price tag is not. If you read the reviews and search online, you'll see that my problem is not uncommon. Sure, people love it at first, but the love is short-lived.

Stopped working in less than two months.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not even done paying for this (paid with Affirm) and it’s already stopped working. Cannot return it, so now it was basically like throwing away $139. So upset as this was a Christmas gift too...so not only did I waste the money, but I gave someone a gift that crapped out in less than two months. For reference it was one person using it to brew one pot and one Kcup of coffee per day. Buyer beware.
