Leaky Carafe

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a single serve K-Cup Brewer and liked it very much, but when we had company and wanted coffee, it wasn't easy to only be able to brew one cup at a time. I bought the Duo 12 Cup and Single Cup Brewer. I thought it was great but have had it a little over 2 months and the 12 cup function is useless. It brews fine but I have to take the 12 cup Carafe to the sink to pour into a cup. It leaks very bad. Looks like it comes from under the plastic (?) top of the Carafe. I find no way to tighten it or take it off. Is there another Carafe I could buy to eliminate this problem. The Single Serve works fine. It has to be leaking around the pour spout area because when you are pouring, there is no coffee at any other area of the lid. Is there a way to be able to tighten it, if that would help?

Exceeded expectations

Love the dual feature- and the fresh coffee is hot. I have it a month now and it's used frequently. If carafe is full, it can have a slightly leaky pour but we mainly use 6/8 cups level and not a problem. Filling from the back slightly awkward if machine is on the countertop under cabinets but well worth it for the price.

Keurig K Duo

Once it goes off, the only way to turn it on again is to make a fresh pot of coffee. Also, sometimes it leaks water all over the cabinet. I thought it was our fault when filling, but even after being extra careful, it still does it once in a while.

Not Ready for prime time

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tricky to set up a timer for the decanter, If you want to change the time that it makes, that’s easy, you have to literally kill the power to the coffee maker to change the amount it makes say 8,10 or 12 cups. NO MATTER WHAT OR HOW YOU POUR THE DECANTER LEAKS WHEN YOU POUR. The kcup portion works fine as expected. Beware this unit takes up a lot of counter space. We bought this unit to replace a Kcup maker and a regular coffee maker. So in our case we did save a little counter space. There is also no way to make the burner plate turn on or extend the time without actually making more coffee. If your primary mission is to make pots of coffee and use an occasional Kcup this is not for you. All in all wish we would have just stayed with 2 different units.

Keurig k-cup duo

Keurig not so much. At first it was great. After a month of using the pot started leaking. The lid gets hot, and warps. So it’s no longer spill proof. Make sure your over the sink pouring. Then the basket started overflowing coffee grains into the pot, and machine. If I could return and get a different coffee machine I absolutely would.

High Hopes and Disappointment

But the flaws with this machine are glaring. 1. You can not pour a cup carefully enough to keep it from leaking all over you counter. 2. If you do not seat the pot perfectly you will get a coffee flood all over the place. I have had the machine a month and this has happened twice. 3. It doesn’t hold enough water. 4. You can’t get the pot clean without using extreme measures. This is the oddest thing about it. I would not purchase this machine again and regret this purchase.

Don’t buy if you want your counters to stay clean

This has to be my least favorite. The coffee stay hot which I appreciate. However, not sure if it’s the construction of the lid or the material they use but every morning when we pour, some of the coffee gets on the counter. Been using it for a month and now have to pour over the sink. No matter how slow, the angle, or hold the cap, it leaks. This is the only one that has ever done that. I have found out that 3 other people who own this model have the same issues.

Horrible coffee pot drips too much

Carafe drips and more
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, it makes coffee in a pot or a cup, but the carafe leaks every time you pour. I have to pour over the sink or I get drips everywhere. You have to press the buttons multiple times for it to register. If you don't get it just right you have waited for your coffee and then go, and nothing. So you have to do it again. If you try to make a pot of coffee and there isn't enough water to do what you asked it will just use what it has, so your 12 cups turns into REALLY STRONG 6 cups, and you can't just run it for 6 cups or a small amount to finish filling after you realize. Lastly, if you aren't quite awake it is possible to press the single cup button when wanting the carafe and have 12 cups of water come out the wrong side all over the counter and floor. So 2 stars because, yes, it does make coffee on either side, but there are just too many issues that I have never had with another coffee maker, with the worst being the dripping carafe.

not a good design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am over this coffee pot, loved the idea of having the 2 in 1; but you risk impalement trying to put in a k-cup because the holder won't open wide enough and the most ANNOYING thing is the coffee pot leaks like a sieve when you try to pour a cup. Going back to 2 separate coffee makers.

The shrink fit is unfit.

Pour it very slowly using only half of the pour spout it still leaks one inch over to the left, there is a gap. I want a replacement.

Coffee pot leaks terrible design

Created a trouble ticket and got a very generic reply that was not helpful. I went online and it appears that many other individuals have the same problem. We had a Cuisanart duo prior to this and never had a issue with the pot. Please help!
