Been using Keurig's for some time now and they never disappoint but for this 12-cup pot. Don't get me wrong it does its job, but the pot was poorly designed. The pouring spout of this pot is a spiller. No matter how fast nor slow you pour it makes a mess. Am thinking of using an older pot and cutting out the drip pause when pouring an early cup sense, I never use this function anyways. Other than that, I like making a few mods to these pots and if you don't you can always buy aftermarket product to add on but beware it may void your warranty.

This maker is amazing! The only down side is you have to turn it in, wait for it to warm up each and every time you use it. It takes a little longer than I’d like, but overall it was a great buy for my household! One other thing and it’s and OCD thing, I definitely think they should have the measurements on the other side of the coffee pot because in order to see how many cups of coffee brewed, the handle has to go under the other side of the coffee machine. I took two photos to give the example...

This is a great coffee pot and is mostly perfect for either serving multiple cups or having a mid day single cup. My only complaint is the carafe is a serious dribbler, which is a bit irritating at times.

I like it but don’t just love love LOVE it. It’s easy to set up , easy to use , and convenient for having the dual brew option however I’m not giving it a 5 because of its size. It is more bulky then I had hoped it would be for the space I have for it. I would love it if it were more streamlined.

We bought this to replace our previous Keurig-K-Duo 12 Cup Coffee Maker and Single Serve K-Cup Brewer. We are disappointed to see that the water reservoir is not clearly marked in black as the replaced same older model. The carafe works a little better in that no spill occurs when pouring. The older model had issues if you tried to pour too quickly coffee would drip down the pot rather than into your cup. Everything works fine, I would have given 5 stars if the lettering on the reservoir was in black rather than just etched lettering in the plastic.

I really loved this coffee maker! I say 'loved' because it stopped working after 2 months (otherwise I'd give it 5 stars). It was returned to store and replaced with a Cuisinart duo coffee maker. Not sure what went wrong, but when trying to brew anything, pressing the brew button would turn off the machine all together. This was the first coffee maker I've had that had a separate water container, rather than pouring the water into a reservoir. I loved the separate container because it made it easier to clean, dry, and avoid calcium build up. Even though the look of the Cuisinart coffee maker is more appealing, this Keurig was overall better in my opinion.

Overall this is a very good unit. I use the individual Keurig single serve pods 99% of the time and it is perfect. The 12 cup carafe is not a true 12 cup. I have never been able to get it to release 12 cups of water from the reservoir to the carafe. It seems to be 2 cups off with the 12 cup & the 10 cup setting. If you want 10 cups, you have to select the 12 cup setting because the 10 cup setting will only give you 8 cups. I have a friend who has this same coffee maker & it does the same thing. This is not a deal breaker for me, but for someone with a large family that needs 12 cups of coffee you might not be happy.

I was wary about buying this because of some negative reviews but it has exceeded my expectations. Love the dual feature- and the fresh coffee is hot. I have it a month now and it's used frequently. If carafe is full, it can have a slightly leaky pour but we mainly use 6/8 cups level and not a problem. Filling from the back slightly awkward if machine is on the countertop under cabinets but well worth it for the price.

Great buy on BBDoTD! Been using it for a week now and seems to work great! I gave it 4 stars because I think it’s a bit louder than our single cup Keurig and I don’t like that after use, it shuts off the power on its own. So when I want a cup of coffee, I have to push the power button then wait for it to warm up the water before I can get a cup. Doesn’t take long to warm, but I like the single cup Keurig for that fact. Also understand, but don’t like the way the full carafe heating unit has to be held for a few seconds for it to shut off. Maybe I’m old school, but I’d rather have a separate button that turns the heat unit on/off. The unit overall works really well and the price was amazing from Best Buy @ $99.

I absolutely love this coffee maker. There have been many improvements to the K-cup side of the coffee maker. However, within 2 months of owning it, and taking very good care of it, the carafe began leaking around the plastic upper part where it is sealed to the glass. I contacted Keurig and learned the carafe is considered an accessory and not covered by the warranty. So I was sent a link where I can purchase an additional carafe for $19.99. I honestly believe that a free carafe should be provided given the short time I have owned it. If you have a sink close by and you can pour your coffee over it, then I would recommend this machine. Nothing seems to be made perfectly these days. Nothing is made to last many years. It’s still a great coffee maker, it’s just messy!

Really nice coffee maker! Well built & easy to use. I love my single side & the carafe. I have not found the carafe to be leaky like other reviews mentioned. My only complaint is the need to leave water in the reserve to brew. Unlike other makers, this one isn't a measure & brew. It requires a certain level of water to brew but does not use up all the water on one brew. Being on well water (even though it's filtered), I prefer not leaving standing water. I do wish the reusable filter came with the unit but it can be purchased separately.

I wanted to reduce the counter space my coffee makers took. I had a drip maker, a K-cup, and a Nespresso all lined up! of course the Nespresso is still here, but now the drip machine and Keurig are in one - much better! The K-cup part works as expected; the drip part, i have a few issues: the machine does not come with a filter insert, you have to buy that separately, but it does not say that on the box, and you can't brew your first pot without it. Bummer. Also the minimum quantity of drip coffee you can make is 6 cups, my old Cuisinart had a setting for 1-4 cups which I used all the time. I've figured out what to do to make less than 6 cups but it's a bit of a hassle (turn off the machine manually, then restart the hot plate to keep that second cup hot when I need it). Other reviewers mentioned that pouring out of the carafe is tricky, I have not observed that, seems fine. Overall I gave it 4 stars because of the lack of filter insert and the 6 cup minimum.

It’s a Keurig and it does do the job of f brewing a pretty decent cup of coffee. Coming from an older Elite series when that one finally but the dust after a few years, I find this model in a love/hate relationship. It seems that I always get stuck with filling the darn thing so it was pleasant to find that the capacity was the same but in a friendly form factor for filling from the fridge. The drawback is that the reservoir is on the back of the unit so it is a little more effort to take it off to fill it. Secondly, the button placement to brew a single serve requires the same dexterity as a concert pianist. Select K-cup, select strong, select cup size, and then hit brew. It’s all over the place. Also, as others have said, the printing on the pot is in the wrong side. Not that you can get more than a six cup brew and an 8 oz single serve prior to the water running out.

Great concept on choosing single servings vs. making for more than 1 person. Had it 5 months now and love it. Only comment for improvement would be the mouth of the coffee pot is easy to spill a little onto the outside if you pour too quickly. It is the easiest pot to clean though because tho top is not tapered in.

This coffee maker is so great. Having the option to have a whole pot of coffee or a single serve is amazing. It's supper simple to set up and can basically start right out the box. It's a little bulky but it's worth it because the water reservoir is amazing to hold enough water.

I was a little concerned at first when we began using this pot, because the coffee produced from the (purchased separately) refillable K cups was not great, and the Green Mountain, and similar widely available K cups that we have sampled elsewhere were not impressive. However, purchasing cups by Peets and Starbucks made a huge difference. Also we have to use a little more coffee in the brew pot than our previous appliance, but that's OK, it does make a good cup of coffee. We really enjoy the convenience of the K-Cup side, as well. Note to those who want to use the refillable cups - I ripped apart a used K cup. There is an miniature flat-bottomed filter in there, as well as a small plastic "screen." Together, these two elements slow down the brew to make a more robust brew.

I'd have given it 5 stars, except for one thing. For some crazy reason, when I pour coffee out of the craffe, if I don't pour "really slow", it drips onto the floor while I'm pouring it. I don't think I've ever had that happen with any other coffee maker, but I found, if you pour really slow, and maybe hold the lid open a bit while your pouring, your pretty much ok. Also, when the coffee is could in the craff, it doesn't drip at all. Figure that one out. At any rate, I don't know if that's a deal breaker here or not, but other than that, it works fine and it's nice to have the single serve K-Cup feature.
