    Unfortunately this broke after a little over a month. And after reading other reviews it seems like it's a trend. Worked fine, but after a month it started to struggle to pull water and it would just turn off. I really like the design and I hope they do something to fix this. I ended up buying the K-Classic instead. We have one at work and that's lasted 2 years.

    I won't go into the virtues of Keurig coffee makers. Nearly everybody knows what they are, so I'll just say Keurigs are awesome if you love coffee, tea or coco and like to make different flavors and a single cup at a time. I'm going to focus this review on the pros and cons of this particular model of Keurig. Pros of the Keurig K-Slim: - No assembly needed - Easy to follow instructions - Minimal procedures to set up - it has a slim, stream-lined design which really saves space on my kitchen counter - it can brew three different cup sizes - 8, 10 or 12 oz. - you can remove the drip tray in order to fit a larger travel mug - It heats and brews in one process, so no need to wait for the water to heat up. - it automatically shuts off for energy saving after 5 minutes - the reservoir is easy to remove and replace to fill it with water - it is very easy to use Cons: - The box stated the color of this unit was black, but it actually ended up being gray. Not a big problem for me, but if you specifically need black, you may want to double check that. - The water reservoir is in the back of the unit. While this does not cause a problem for me and I previously mentioned that it was easy to remove and fill, if you will have this unit shoved back on your counter underneath some cupboards, just know that you will have to pull it out each time you need to fill it. It is not a big unit though, so shouldn't be a problem for most people. - The previous Keurig we owned required a filter. The K-Slim doesn't come with or mention a filter in the instructions. I'm not sure how that might affect the brewer or the beverage after long term use. Certainly don't notice anything in the taste of the initial beverages I have brewed. Overall I think this unit is great and I really like the stream-lined design!

    For the first two months I had the machine, I really enjoyed the sleek design in my kitchen. Unfortunately when I went to go brew my coffee for the last time, after only two months of having the machine, it made a horrible rumbling noise then spewed steam out of every crevice and now does not function any longer. It was only lightly used, so the quality and short life are really unfortunate.

    Little sad that the water isn’t as hot as my old k-cup that I had. My family is happy with it. The size of cup only goes to 12 oz.

    Looking for a portable Keurig

    We were looking for a portable Keurig to take on trips. This unit was a "Deal of the Day", so we purchased it. We found it too large for our purpose, but we planned to make it work and started a three-day trip. It worked on the first day and we had fresh morning coffee. On the second day, the coffee maker dispensed only one ounce of coffee at a time before shutting down. After our trip, we tried it again at home. The unit was obviously defective. We returned it to the local Best Buy store where we exchanged it for the smaller unit in the Keurig line. It turned out to be a better solution for traveling. This product may be fine for putting on a kitchen counter for daily use, but I only gave it one star because it's too large to be portable, and we only got one day's use out of it before it failed to perform.

    I have owned three Keurigs. This was a substandard machine that never discharged the amount of liquid selected. It is slim, but it is extremely long and did not fit my shelf space I used for my old (2014) Keurig model. Replaced with a traditional K 50 classic which so far works as advertised.

    With space being limited on the counter, this slim model was the perfect fit to still make k-cup coffee at our house. We do have a standard drip maker and for the convenience we sometimes use k-cups for visitors or afternoon pick me up. This unit functions exactly like other Keurig but thankfully dimensions are smaller to provide a great solution for those with limited space. This will also give us a quality coffee maker solution while we pull our travel trailer on vacation this summer. Great product!

    i thought it would be a lot smaller I wanted to return it because the size. it works well doesnt have a 6 0Z cup choice

    A New Take on the Single Serve

    This new version has now replaced my other single serve Keurig. This one has a flat lever, which works when using a self filling pod using my own coffee grounds. At first, it seemed like it didn't work, but you have to wait for the second stage on when the water is heated and then dispersed. I then used a normal pod and that worked as designed of course. The wait time compared to my prior unit is indeed faster. There is pretty much no wait for your perfect cup. You can opt for the 8 oz, 10 oz, or 12 oz, Also you can remove the drip tray to put a travel mug under it. The water reservoir is new to me for a single serve. The lit buttons are pretty self-explanatory. You put your cup under the spout, put the pod in and place it back down. You don't even need to turn it on, the unit will do it for you. Also there are notifications if you need to add more water and if a descaling is needed. The black matte color will go well with pretty much anything. The design is very well done in my opinion. I have to say that the foot print is slim as the the name suggests, however it's pretty long compared to my older unit. I have the counter space for it, but keep that in mind. Would I recommend this? Yes for a person like me that only has about 2 cups of coffee a day, it is perfect. No need to pull out the pot and make a huge portion when I am only drinking one or two cups. There is no clean up needed. The water reservoir is removable and well made.The negatives? Well it is a little long for my liking but it is what it is.

    After only using this brewer for less than a month, it stopped working. I expected more from a Keurig. Only positive note, is the slim design worked perfectly in my kitchen; too bad the brewer didn’t.
