Awesome, best Keurig we’ve had. Quiet... and the multiple water injection ports in the top produce better flavor than our previous machine with one, and using the same coffee. Really like the easily removable water reservoir, for refilling, and the fact it has a handle.

Pros: Decent Sized Water Reservoir, Easy to use, Easy to Clean, Nice Compact design, the 2.0 feature produces stronger coffee Cons: Can't fit larger travel mugs, Even when descaling and resetting after, it constantly has a "descale" message appear. Bottom Line: I was not a fan of Keurig prior to the 2.0 system as I found they brewed a watery tasting cup of coffee. I decided to give one a try when I heard the new system improved the taste. Now I can never go back to brewing a pot of coffee again!

I bought this Keurig to replace my 5 year old K200 that I loved. It took me a some attempts before I was able to figure out that my previous maker water output was different and I needed less water to achieve the taste I wanted in the new one. I’m pleased with this new Keurig, however the price, not so much!

Definitely the Cadillac model... we drink a lot of tea and coffee so the price tag didn’t matter. But to be honest this is my third Keurig in four years, even keeping up with maintenance (de scaling and changing filter) we can’t seem to keep one running for more than a year.... I don’t know if that’s good considering the household makes 3-5 cups every morning

The user custom selection options make this really nice. It does require some basic selections to make it work versus our older model Remington machine. This model has a smaller footprint, easier to fill larger water reservoir. Buying this unit also required purchasing the water filters, universal filter cup for manually making your own custom coffee from ground beans and the Donut shop regular 24 pod box. At that time, buying them as a package, all addons were then $0 at checkout. I also bought another universal filter as a backup since the item looks a little fragile. Coffee flavor is about the same as the older unit. It is still good tasting. Maintenance seems simple and I have plenty of cleaning tablets and de-calcifying tablets to keep it clean, since I bought enough of them for my Breville espresso machine.

The additional pricks are worth it! My husband and I drink different types, sizes, strength, temperature and flavors of coffees and teas. This is fantastic! With two people drinking brews that are opposite of one another we are each happy. Both hot and iced coffee and teas come out great because you can personalize them. Easy to keep clean too. Simple to fill. We have used both K-cups and the reusable filter for freshly ground & preground coffees too. Around the holidays I’ll even grab hot cider & hot chocolate for guests. We have had so many coffee makers including expresso machines & even a Nespresso over the years; there is always something we have to compromise. If I wasnit picking I will share you need to remove the bottom piece the coffee/tea cup sits on for my Yeti (uh it easily slides right out & back in so it’s not an issue). The additional pricks in the K-Cups and holes in the reusable filter makes a big difference (the adjustable strength & temperature plus size options adds to that feature). The over ice feature is excellent too. I anticipated having to brew coffee hot over ice to get flavor but this does all the work for you! It truly checks all the boxes! We ended up paying full price & it was worth every cent. Zero complaints & that says it all!

I've had my Keurig - K-Supreme Plus Coffee Maker for a few months now, and it's the best Keurig I've owned. It definitely makes better tasting coffee than my other Keurig machines and makes it faster. I haven't had any issues with it at all other than the temperature setting seems to not make any difference. It's not an issue to me since the temperature is just fine to me.

Multistream Technology is great until is messes up

We really like the large reservoir on this model and the new "multistream technology"—when it works right—is great. The new Keurig "Multistream Technology" works by having four hollow pins at the top of the cup holder that pierce your k-cup when you initiate the brewing cycle by closing the lid. All is great until, for whatever reason, the "pins" fail to properly pierce the top of the k-cup correctly, and instead of a tricky of yummy coffee, you end up with mess grinds all over the place. To put it simply, it is as if the k-cup blew up. And unless you really clear any remnants of the grinds out of the lid, it will keep doing over and over. It so frustrated my wife that I was ordered to return the ##### broken new expense coffee maker ASAP. We worked through that, and it does work great when it works right. I would encourage you to google "multistream Keurig keeps messing up"

The Best Single Serve Cup of Coffee I've Had!

    |
    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Quality of Brew: I used an entry level, no frills, single serve brewer before this, and the K-Supreme Plus definitely beats it on taste. Dark and Bold roasts in this Keurig come out big on flavor, almost as good as a pour-over or French press. Unlike my other machine which also delivers strong coffee, but misses out on flavor. During the process of writing this review, I became curious to see if it would affect some medium roast Columbian coffee which I had planned to give away due to it having no flavor. I am pleased to report that this Keurig, brought out flavor in that particular roast. It still doesn't beat my usual dark and bold roast brands as it is too "bright" for my liking, but I can now see why people like it. I brew on the highest strength setting and at 6oz, so your experience may vary depending on what settings you use. Quality of Construction: I really like how everything seamlessly fits together, nothing feels flimsy. With proper care and cleaning, it seems like this will hold up to years of use. Included in the box was a water filter handle and disposable filter. I won't be using this as I only use bottled water in my coffee makers (I've noticed that it improves the lifespan of the machine), but I can see this being nice for people who would rather use tap water. The drip tray holds 8oz of liquid, which is really nice if you are trying to brew a cup in the morning and accidentally forget to put your mug under the spout. Suggestions: Get rid of the temperature setting and replace it with a pre-heat and timer option on future models in this series. Adjusting the temperature setting made no real difference in the final quality of the brewed coffee. It would be nice to be able to set this up at night before bed and wake up to a freshly brewed mug in the morning. For anyone thinking about buying this machine, it is definitely worth it if taste and convenience are what is most important to you. Get the Geek Squad warranty on this. From what I can tell, it is a well made machine, but if you are going to be spending $200 on a coffee maker, you definitely want some peace of mind on this little investment.

Keurig may have hit one out of the park

We have owned quite a few K-Cup coffee makers over the years - not all Keurigs. About 2 years ago we got into grinding and brewing the traditional way - and perfected brewing great coffee. But, we often find ourselves wanting 'just one cup' of coffee quickly, so decided to add a Keurig back to our Kitchen. Knowing all the good and bad things about K-Cup coffee makers, I was intrigued with the K-Supreme Plus. It is much smaller than Keurigs best coffee makers from the past, has a very large water reservoir, and has some very cool engineering going on with heating the water. Open the lid and the unit powers up without pressing the 'on' button, put in a K-Cup, close the lid, press a favorites button and then press the brew button, and it starts running water through in a few seconds. The first second-or-two of water is not hot, but within another second or two it is very hot. I have not timed it, but would guess 8oz is brewed in way less than one minute. The Plus model appears to do 'instant heating' - a cool party trick. I really like the idea - it should save energy and make the unit last longer, as it isn't maintaining hot water. The K-Cups are 'stronger' than other Keurigs we have owned - even when the strength setting is set to low. I am sure this is due to the 'MultiStream' tech. I don't know that you could make a weak cup of coffee with it - maybe brewing 12 oz would weaken it up. Overall the unit is very well built and has a premium look - nothing cheap about it. Time will tell how reliable it is. If it turns out to be reliable it will be the best Keurig we have ever owned. It's certainly not inexpensive, but we picked one up right before Christmas at a very good price plus an additional $30 E-Gift card.

This brewer is awesome. I switched over from a nespresso Evoluo and its so much better in many ways. Its quiet, the pods are easier to get and cheaper, the coffee tastes like coffee, its compatible with many third parties. The hinge mechanism on this machine is very sturdy and I see it lasting for many years. It includes 1 charcoal filter that needs to be rinsed before installing. It is expensive but it is very well worth it when you factor in how much you probably spend on starbucks / other coffee. I saw it as an investment.

I love strong coffee!!,.. and this coffee maker is perfect because you can adjust the strength f your coffee. The coffee is just as good as buying a cup at a cafe’. The technology on it is really cool. It has 4 or 5 needles that puncture the coffee pod. My old coffee maker was $200 dollars and it made weak coffee and it doesn’t come close to this coffee maker. If you like a weaker cup, no worries because you don’t have do press the strong coffee button. But it! It’s worth every penny!

Very nice coffee maker. It looks good, has a large water container with a handle that makes it easy to fill. Its got 3 level adjustments for temperature and strength, the default is low and low. You can set up to 3 preferences for them each saved with its own button -- but you have to remember to hit the preference every time you brew. Otherwise you get low and low. It has 5 cup sizes, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12oz. Its a shame it does not go up to 16 oz, my mugs are never close to full, unless I brew again. Its pretty easy, I start with an 8 oz brew, then when its done slightly lift the handle and do it again for an additional 8 oz. I have had a coffee ground get into the exit funnel, which caused the coffee to overflow into the bowl cavity and drip out along the perimeter. It still dropped into the cup, but it looked more like a sprinkler than a stream. It was easy enough to pull the funnel out at rinse it off. All worked well again. I did see some other reviews mentioning the sprinkler issue, but none of them mentioned how easy it is to resolve. It has not happened very often at all, so its not really an issue. Its nice that they have an overflow bowl to prevent the liquid from escaping the cup -- that would make a real mess. I am pretty hard on coffee makers -- few survive more than a few years, but this one seems like it should last a long time. Its very well built, the moving parts (lid and control panel) look pretty sturdy.
