I tried these rinse pods and have noticed a slight difference, but not enough to purchase them all the time.

I use them but can’t tell if they do anything. I do think they help to remove extra grounds and maybe if you brew flavored coffee. I use them before brewing tea after I have brewed a lot of coffee.

Not sure if I needed it but it's good to have the peace of mind knowing that I will be caring for my coffee maker properly.

I use filtered water, so I don’t believe this will change much within the machine, but it is nice to use every now and then.
