    There are noticeable favorites within this package. The Pike Roast is always the last one left because none of the coffee drinkers in our house care for it. All of the others are very good.

    Much to my chagrin (I try to avoid being a brand-boy) Starbucks has consistently good coffee; in-store, ground and K-cups. I've never had their raw bean, but would expect it is of similar quality. As such this deal was a fantastic buy at "bargain coffee" prices. Pike's Place Roast (rich and full with low bitterness) is one of my favorite coffees of all time, my wife loves the Sumatra (rich and dark with a bit of an edge) and the Veranda is great for my in-laws (aromatic and light but not watery in the smaller brews). If I have a criticism it's that the "House Blend" gets a little lost among the other high-performers, but makes a good medium cup of coffee and tolerates an ounce range better than the Veranda (which will water down quickly in the larger brews). I'd considering getting this pack on subscription.
