I have a very large basement with insulation and it smelled musty, so I decided to get a dehumidifier (along with a whole home humidifier on my HVAC, go figure!). This guy keeps the humidity down so I never have to worry about mr. mold or mildew brewing inside the insulation. I set it the first day I got it, checked up on it here and there, but it has worked brilliantly all on it's on with no oversight.

So far I’ve been pleased with the Keystone dehumidifier. It looks like a more basic unit but has all the features I need. Also looked it up in consumer reports and it was more reliable then most of the other units out there. I’ve had several other brands that did not last and died just outside of the warranty period. While I’m not an extended warranty fan in general, I recommend anyone buying a dehumidifier to get one. I’ve had great results from Best Buy when I’ve had issues.

I am please with this dehumidifier however it is made of a lot of plastic... my concerns are... how long will it last? I believe it can be very fragile.

This device works very well for my basement. I have to empty the water maybe about once every week and half.

Fairly quiet but only complaint is the auto mode seems to switch on/off too rapidly

This unit does a great job removing humidity from my basement. The unit is quiet with an easy to understand control panel and can be connected to a regular 5/8" garden drain hose eliminating the need to empty the 1.6 gallon drain tank.

For the money you can’t go wrong with Keystone dehumidifier. Great features there’s a warning light when to clean filter, there’s a little ball float for the water level and it’s quiet I’m very please with this machine

Set it up, plugged it and been working fine ever since. Came with a hose adapter, was great

Our basement is smelling better and is soooo much dryer you can tell when you walk down the stairs

After reviewing, it looks nice and convenient that is easy to use and carry wherever you go

I purchased mine Aug 2014 and it died September 2016! So, that's two for two on this review board! Get another brand...possibly a different model but this one isn't good!!

Purchased the exact model except 50 pint version July 2014. Worked great until end of summer 2016 I find ice all over the front and an "EC" error code. Will not work and EC error code every time now. Suspect Freon leak and it is useless now.
