    I bought these to place under the dash in my runabout boat. One of the OEM speakers had failed and the set was "tinney" sounding anyway. These 5.25" Kickers went into the same openings with only a need to drill new holes in the plywood bulkhead. They have good bass output for a speaker of this size, much better than my OEM speakers.. So far, I am very happy with their performance.
