Sounds Weak!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned alot of subs over the years, I was looking for something to fit behind the seat of a truck I just bought. It is great as far as fitting into a tight spot but thats about it. As far as sound quality it is weak you could get better sound out of a nice set of 6x9's I think there are tons of options out there that would sound way better for the same or even less money. SImply put, it's just not worth it.

It's a kicker...so it kicks.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so this sub is a kicker, so it does just that, it kicks or punches (whichever you prefer), but it doesn't KNOCK if you catch my drift. Honestly, The highs are good. But the sub will not put out lows any better than my factory speaker. It gets real weak on lows but I guess it was designed that way. I listened to another kicker with a square shape and it did really well on lows but sucked on highs. This kicker over powers my vocals. Yes, I've did adjustments and it was professionally installed.I even tried turning the treble all the way up, reducing the bass, and switched more sound from the rear to the front and still makes my music sound distorted. I have a nissan Truck and it sticks out under the seat just a tad but not horribly.Doesn't fit behind the seat. I put it in my Chevy malibu car and it sounds 5x better in that. Overall gave it a 3 because 3 is average, and it was just that...average. Not a bad speaker for maybe someone young on there first ride but if you want the fullness of your music I would go with something else. Hope I helped. All in all, Im going with a different woofer and selling this one or giving it to my 16 year old bro.
