I don't see any other option if you want to run 100 watts or more to your doors. I have the last model C's in my truck and have 4 of these and two kicker C's 6x9 running with a JL 2x10 sub now in my car. The C's are the best quality speaker that can handle this much rms on the market. I looked at doing something different in the car but my truck sounds so good I went kicker again and am not dissapointed. I have been pounding the ones in the truck for 3-4 years and still going strong. You won't be dissapointed if you buy these.if you want to listen to classical music on low volume please ignore everything I said and buy jbl or infinity. These are for people who like to feel the music while they listen

This was for a ford explorer 2018, will recommend to buy a sub as the opening in the rear door can fit one.. i got this one based on the dimensions. It does the job

I bought these to replace factory installed speakers. Needless to say, they kick!

These are an okay upgrade to the factory speakers I. 07 jeep wrangler. They are good quality but they begin to distort after turning up the volume.

I’m pleasantly surprised actually. For a mid tier speaker (and mid tier in the kicker lineup), these speakers sound great on both head unit power as well as on an amp. I installed a set of these in my RV and a set in a Wrangler and couldn’t be happier for the money spent. I recommend these for anyone looking to save a few bucks but still have good sound/output levels.

So far so good. I’ve had them installed for a while now. I don’t baby them at all. I play my music loud and all the time. I’ve went through 3 other brands of speakers that didn’t last very long. I’ve tried Focal, Pioneer, and JBL. They all blew even though I keep my amp turned down. I have them installed and my amp tuned every time. These kickers have outlasted them all.

The speakers sound a lot better than OEM speakers.
