I Really Wanted to Like It

Don’t get me wrong, this powered sub can absolutely get “loud”, unfortunately, loud does not always equate to quality sound. This sounds best at low to low-med volumes, once you approach the 30-45% volume levels it sounds very metallic (due to the aluminum box). I was also disappointed to see that this unit did not come with the wired remote, looks like sale price ($30 off) is due to lack of $40 add-on item. After 10 days of adjustments, I have decided to rerun this unit and look elsewhere for a better solution. I love the concept of a compact powered subwoofer- it just doesn’t hit the mark.
