    Perfect for my 03' Miata

Just got this unit installed and it works great. Good clear punchy sound. I have a cheap Sony aftermarket head unit (does have pre amp and I'm using it, no bass knob) and Kenwood 6x8's, probably just a decent upgrade over stock, that all came with the car. I listen to a mix of everything and it can handle the low low bass on Kevin Gates "John Gotti" without a hint of distortion but will also kick you pretty good on AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long". It's installed in a perfect little spot behind the passenger seat so it's hidden and everything looks stock. Only sacrifice is one click of backwards movement on the seat bottom which I'm more than happy to give up versus losing foot room on other Miata sub installs I've seen. That is all based on having the top down. Now with it up, dare I say it......it flat out bumps. Troll away on that statement if you want but a roadster is the perfect scenario for this powered sub. It would not "bump" in anything larger and would just give you the bass of a higher end stock stereo. In conclusion if you have a small car it's well worth the money and is likely to impress you. If you're just rounding out some low end on a sedan with a stock system it's still worth it. If you have something larger or you're expectations are to wake up the neighbors and set off car alarms then you need a big boy system with big subs and big power.

Bought the car for my son's 2014 Chevy 4 door Cruze. Originally was going to place it in the truck but tech said would be better under driver seat. Fit perfect and really helps the sounds in the car. One issue the wired control knob was not in box had to get charged for another one. Would be a 5 star if that was there.

    Great 8” subwoofer

Before I go on, I want to say that I have 4 Kicker CS speakers and a pair of Kicker tweeters powered by a kicker key amp and a factory head unit as the rest of my setup. I cannot speak to how well this works when all other components are stock. Considering the above, this sub complements the rest of my setup really well. It is an 8” sub, so it does not pick up the really low bass tones as well as a 10” or 12” sub, which I did expect going in. It does, however, outperform any factory sub I have ever heard in a vehicle with factory upgraded audio (Bose, JBL, etc.). It also allows you to control the bass level remotely with the included dial. Overall I think it is the perfect way to get solid bass that you can feel without going in to more involved setups. Like in the movie Step Brothers, it is like Jesus wearing a faux suit t-shirt. Refined, yet capable of partying, but not fully committed to either extreme. A few suggestions for installation: 1. Run the remote wire for remote turn on. The manual tells you that it is not necessary, but you should definitely run the remote wire while doing the rest of the wiring. Better to run it the first time than to discover that you need to do so afterwards and risk having to take everything back apart after you’ve finished. I have heard of others having trouble with the turn on not working correctly using the suggested method in the manual and then having to run the remote wire after the fact. 2. The included speaker wiring is likely not long enough to reach behind the head unit. If you plan to wire it to a place behind the head unit, you will likely need to connect additional speaker wires to to the included wiring to make it reach, so have some of the same gauge on hand. The power and remote wires should be long enough. 3. Do not use the included brackets to mount it unless it has a lot of room to move around. Under the seat with heavy duty Velcro is plenty stable, so I would not screw it in to any metal on your vehicle unless completely necessary. 4. Hide the bass knob and use double sided tape to mount it. No need to hide the sub and advertise it with the bass control knob. It is not necessary to have access to it to constantly tune it. Put it out of sight and adjust it when you need to before or after you get done driving.

This sub was just what I needed for my Regular cab chevy silverado. I had a new touch screen head unit installed and this sub provided just the right amount of bottom end. It sounds like a high quality factory unit not real loud but great quality. It installed nicely behind the passenger seat. I had to make a small wood shelf for it to sit on. Bestbuy installed and it sounds great..

I received this as a Christmas gift the speaker/amp itself is very solid small enough to fit in areas in your vehicle so it can be hidden and looks very user-friendly as I look at the cables very simple to put together My install date is in March so I’m still waiting to hear sound quality as Best Buy is very busy this time of year after Christmas for installs.

Great speaker. Nothing too loud but it knocks pretty good for real considering it’s size. It is obnoxious where they put the knobs to adjust the amp but you do get a knob to control the bass level that’s pretty convenient cuz you can mount it pretty much wherever you want. Def recommend this. I might buy another actually

Great sound and very loud. Its more like an extra speaker you inatall below your driver seat but its still got enoigh bass to make a huge difference in your audio system. But for the price and the fact that its all in one i would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants a upgrade their car audio without having to buy a whole new speaker set.

Purchased this unit because my aftermarket stereo just didn't have enough low end. It very nicely fills the void of bass without being distorted or irritating. Took a while to "dial in" the sound, but once I did, it sounds great. My only slight issue is that I wish we could have mounted it under the drivers seat rather than the passenger seat. I suspect that's more of a vehicle issue though.

Bought this for our son for Christmas for his Jeep Compass. Had it installed with Best Buy under his driver seat. Neat, small, and out of the way. Definitely not super loud in terms of speakers, but son says “it fills the space nicely.” Overall, a good value for the money and with out Best Buy membership the free installation was fabulous!

Bought this for my 17 yr old, had it professionally installed though we prolly could've done the job. Overall it performs well. Added allot of bass and depth to stock speakers and the built in amp powers the unit sufficiently. The remote is a really nice feature as along with EQ on head unit you can really dial in the bass and get a nice, clean, crisp sound. Also the super low profile of the unit is great for underseat deployment which is really nice.

Needed something that could be mounted out of sight, but still give my 04 Wrangler a little thump. This was the perfect solution! For new jeeps this sub fits under the driver's seat, but not for my 04. However, it fit perfectly under the second row seat. Out of sight and out of the weather. The sound is great. Just enough bass to round out the sound coming from the sound bar. Is it going to win any competitions? No, but that's not my goal. I just want to hear my music while driving down the street with my top off! Oh, and you can't beat the price for the 4 year warranty on this. If I do blow the sub, or it overheats, or the weather does get to it, or whatever, BB replaces it!

My spouse recently purchased a Ford Maverick pickup, and I felt the need to upgrade the terrible stock speakers. The truck needed bass, yet had very little room, and I was told that the under-seat storage bins in the back were off-limits. I had to find something slim, yet dependable, to fit in the excruciatingly tiny space behind the rear seat. With some creative mounting, I was able to fit this powered sub (and the amp for the upgraded main speakers) behind the rear seat, for a seamless, unobtrusive install. Don't expect extreme LF extension from something this small... that is against the rules of audio physics. However, if you need a bit more bass to reinforce the lower notes in your music, yet don't have much space to put a sub and amp, this powered subwoofer works well.

This sub took my anemic sounding system and gave it a boost. The bass from this sub can be dialed in and sounds great. I had it installed under the drivers seat and it thumps. I was surprised at just how much this changed the sound of everything I listen too. It’s like going from a old-timey am radio to a real stereo and I am very glad I did this upgrade. 2 thumbs up!

Im getting old and just want some personal bass and nothing too loud for everyone else to hear. So far it sounds great. Better than stock and it has some punch to it. Just dont turn the gain to 100 and blow these speakers. All in all worth the upgrade if your car doesnt have stock sub.

This is a display item that I purchased so the price was right for me. Luckily all the cables were still there. This is exactly the size I want to fit my vehicle. I use a Sony head unit to drive this subwoofer. Bass is good given my vehicle is a 2-seater. This is my first vehicle subwoofer. No complaint.
