Installed this quite a while ago and have had zero issues with it, it’s a little pricey but it was nice to not have to find multiple mounting locations in my truck for separate components. Almost sounds like a 10’’, obviously no crazy bass but it does sound really good in my F150 mounted behind the seat. I’m happy with it!

Quick and easy install with quality sound and easy use. Don't tune it to high though cause I blew my first one. Price is high but you pay for the connivence I guess

I'm ole'school, as a 20something kid I had 2 Fosgate 12's running on a Punch 75 and I used to be an installer for much of my 20's so I've seen and heard a lot. Well I'm in 50's now and I still like to jam but I don't and can't have 12's in my Jeep. I need something stealth and Kicker was one of our competitors so I know their reputation and decided to give this.....man was I surprised! Yes this can actually shake your rear view mirror and my Jeep is loud due to the soft top and I can still hear it very well going down the highway. This rounded out my sound quite well. I only have 1 warning....this DOES NOT have RCA inputs! Dang , how did I miss that!? I wanted to hook this to my Alpine's Sub-Out and found you need Kicker's RCA conversion jack that attaches to the line level inputs and turns them into RCA-IN's. The reviews on them working were mixed so I pushed on and used the rear speaker outs that weren't in use on my radio and was pleaded. No alternator wine and I didn't even use the Bass Knob. It actually defeats the amp's onboard gain and BECOMES the amp's gain control. I didn't want to be constantly adjusting this so I left it off....no regrets. This is a bit long but for any Wrangler owner looking to add some bass and not expose yourself to peeking eyes this will work and you don't give up any trunk space.

I installed this in my 2015 ram single cab under the passenger seat next to the jack. and it fits perfect I have the alpine system and tapped the wires before the amp. Sounds great and gives the stereo the punch it was missing. I did buy some upgraded wire connectors even though it does come with some but this is literally everything you need to install no amp kit or line output converter needed. Great Mod for 240.

Fits under the backseat in my Ram truck like it was literally designed just for my rig. Internal amp amply pushes the sub into doing exactly what it is supposed to do. The best part is that I actually turned the thumping down because it can push bass beyond what I normally like. Why is that the best part? Because if you want to put a beat to it, she can handle every thump.

I was looking for that extra low end in my new Pioneer head unit, and this was a super nice choice! Didn’t take up much room under my Toyota Tundra back seat, so I’m pleased all around!

Based on the reviews I had a fairly high expectation but remained realistic for what it is. It far exceeded my expectation. It had a bit of a surprise as well. I was going to change out my mid high combo speakers , since I upgraded the base, would make sense right? Unnecessary, it made the whole system come alive. I dont write positive or negative reviews often, unless the situation is exceptional in either direction. This is one of those cases.

Impressive power from such a small unit. Surprising that some reviews mention an unnoticeable difference from factory. It made a world of difference for me, clean solid bass. Installed on 2019 F-150 crew behind rear seat.

Good buy for some extra depth and takes up very little space. Easy to hook up and get set up. Nice all in one unit.

Top notch sound from this little sub. I added this in my truck after I had the all 4 speakers upgraded and added an amp to the factory radio and it just needed a little more bass. The geek squad came through with a great installation. I got the best buy BETA program for 200 and the installation was free and it give all my equipment a 2 year warranty.

This powered sub has made an incredible difference in the stereo sound quality in my F250 crew cab. It has really filled in the bass that had been missing. I’m not going to win any contest because of it, but for the price and what I’m getting out of it, it’s been totally worth it. The install guys in Pensacola did a great job and went through everything concerning the install and operation before I was out the door. Absolutely pleased with the entire experience.

Sounds amazing!! Was looking to fill the void in my ford fusion but nothing too much. This sub filled that void perfectly

This 8” subwoofer bangs! So easy to install, wish I would have bought 2! I’ll definitely be putting a couple in my other vehicles as I love the bass for ME, but don’t need to blow the block down with bass. Excellent work.

Great product easy instal and for the size they sound great. Your not going to get that deep base you would if you had a big box, but if your limited space this is the way to go

This Kicker Hideaway is the best powered sub I've ever owned. And I've had several over the past few years. It fit nicely under the back seat of my crew cab truck. I could have mounted it to the back wall behind the seat if I wanted to. But I wanted optimal sound so I put it under the seat. The bass is amazing for a powered sub. Of course it won't blow out your neighbors windows, but for perfect sound within your vehicle it is great. I would highly recommend this Kicker.

I highly recommend paying for the extended warranty as reviews online says the unit has a history of random failure. That being said, I have not had any problems and I absolutely love my sub. It gives me enough bass to really fill out the sound without having to give up my trunk space. If you can find an open box unit, I recommend doing that, as $300 is way too expensive... but there really aren't any better options.
