I'm not an audiophile but these speakers sound great to me even with my stock stereo. I can only imagine how good they'll be with a new head unit and an amp. These speakers have good bass as well for just being door speakers. Buying a dedicated sub would still be best but these will get you buy for now.

Speaker install was easy, crossover wiring is straight forward. Overall great investment for my 92 camaro.

The polypropylene woofer with santoprene surrounds offer solid bass, alhough you shouldn’t expect them to replace a good subwoofer. The 1” midrange driver and 3/4" silk dome tweeter prioritize smoothness & accuracy in their sound profile. They are also power efficient, & a stock radio can drive them pretty well, however an amp really brings out their musicality. Well done Kicker

I had a tough mounting situation where I didn't want to cut the rear deck of my classic car, but with the extra mounting gaskets they come with, I was able to get them put in nicely.

A much needed upgrade

A much needed upgrade from my shoddy factory speakers. The change in quality, especially in regards to the treble and mid-bass, was greatly noticeable.
