The HD Remaster & Tech Demo for KH3

This is another great addition to the Kingdom Hearts Universe if you haven't gotten a chance to play Dream Drop Distance this is the best way to play it in the most comfortable and fluid control way honestly. The Remaster is solid with the graphics getting a nice bump up. This is an essential part because you really need to play this game before starting Kingdom Hearts 3 when it comes out. Then there is the 0.2 Birth by Sleep game which honestly is a tech demo that is fairly short but nicely demonstrates a good look at the combat for Kingdom Hearts 3 and graphics for it coming up. This is a gorgeous part of the 2.8 collection and sadly a bit shorter then I feel it should have been. There are collectibles which if you're interested in gives it replayability but it may not be to everyone's liking. The last part of the game is a cinematic for Kingdom Hearts X (Kingdom Hearts Unchained X or Kingdom Hearts Union X the mobile game) it mainly is there to give some background that is shown in the mobile game and yet I am not sure I appreciate it since there already is another season in the game introducing, even more, people that so far I am not sure is necessary info for getting lore that is missing in this cinematic but it does give you the main basics that is mainly lore for understanding the Kingdom Hearts Universe for the closing of the saga. I would completely recommend this but please be aware that the value for this is high only if you are not paying the $60 premium since if you have to liken this collection to anything its the Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes to Kingdom Hearts 3 but with more impact only because of Dream Drop Distance HD remaster which if you have a 3DS might be cheaper but this is definitely something if not you will enjoy to complete your dive into the Kingdom Hearts Universe

This game has lots of content! You can also make the game as easy or hard as you want! The fighting and story are amazing! Even if you haven't played the other games to understand the story, the game provides an in-game chronical of the other games to help you understand!

Only worth it for the HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance. The "new" game is demo that just gives you a taste of what Kingdom Hearts 3 will be like. It's only worth it if you want to know what happens to Aqua after Birth by Sleep.

As I said before, So I was always a fan of Disney as a kid and have recently gotten into RPG games. I love Square Enix and think the FF Series is great. When I heard about KH I was like "I need this game". In preparation for KH III, I wanted to play the series from the beginning. The graphics are from a previous system but the story is amazing. And all those Disney characters and locales...... Man, this is a great series, I see why it was rated so highly.

For Those That Missed Dream Drop Distance on 3DS

Given that the Kingdom Heart series only has two main series entries, there are a plethora of side games that were easy to miss as most of them were on portable systems. For those that missed Dream Drop Distance on the 3DS, this game includes that game and two shorter original games that will hopefully bridge the gap to Kingdom Hearts 3 (whenever that will come out).

I bought Kingdom Hearts for my PS2 years ago and loved the story but my PS2 fell out of use. I am THRILLED to be able to play it again so my husband bought me this for Christmas so that I can continue the saga and get ready for the next chapter, hopefully in January.

I love all the Kingdom Hearts games and I'm glad that they went back and remastered all their old games to play on today's systems. Great gameplay and the updated graphics are amazing. I recommend starting from the beginning so you know the story, but it's worth it.

If you're a kingdom hearts fan, you're going to want to get this. Fragmentary passage is basically showcasing what Kingdom Hearts 3 will be like. It should tide a lot of people over before 3 releases (hopefully) this year.

The final chapter prologue is just that, the final moments that build right up to Kingdom Hearts 3. The short fragmentary passage campaign was exciting, and shows off what KH3 gameplay will be like.

As someone who has KH 1.5+2.5HD REMIX for PS4, buying this was a no brainer. Since 2.8 is another collection of games and movies, It's worth the money. I really like how they remastered Dream Drop Distance from the 3ds to the PS4, and a movie regarding the Kingdom Hearts mobile Game. The nice new addition is the 0.8 story where you play as Aqua. The graphics are what KH3 is supposed to look like, and it's making me real happy :).

An Okay Collection of Kingdom Hearts Games

In the realm of confusing Kingdom Hearts collections and trying to make sure you can play as many of the games as possible, buying the 2.8 collection is a must. However it does not provide the value that the 1.5+2.5 collection offers.
This collection really only features 1 game, a remaster of the 3DS game Dream Drop Distance. The other features are a cinematic and a very short second "game". Gameplay is fun and all of the Square Enix and Disney characters you will remember from the series are here for your enjoyment, but it's just not a must-own collection, especially if you played DDD on the 3DS.

This game was long overdue to the PS family. I was not fortunate enough to play any of the 3ds Kingdom Hearts titles at their individual launches and am ever so happy that they are now remastered on the PS4. Great game and makes you even more excited for KH3.

Played through the original version of these games, and bought the updates while they were on sale. If you already played these, these are nice comprehensive versions of each game. If you haven't played theses, you really should if action rpgs are your jam.

Kingdom Hearts is not for everyone. They are kind of abrasive, and sort of bad if you really aren't in to this type of game. I would say try it out before you buy, BUT if you like the characters and style jump in. A lot to play here for a low price.

My wife loves this game: Got it for her and the kids and they have a blast. Not too difficult and doesn’t have all the gore and blood other games do, so very kid friendly.

Great games. Some good story. Would definitely recommend playing 1.5+2.5 first if you haven't already. This also succeeded in getting me ready for the next installment.
