Kingdom hearts 1 came out in 2002, the same year my son was born. He was no more than 4 years old when we played through the first two games. That began a lifelong obsession with this series. He has played through each game many, many times. He can (and often has) talk for hours about the story and his feelings about it to anyone willing to listen, and even those who aren't. My son and I both have autism, so with us obsessions run very, very deep. He has truly waited 3/4 of his life for this game. Next week he turns 17 and this is the absolute best present he could ever ask for. I had to order 2 copies so I would be able to play. When we got it in the mail today his eyes lit up and immediately started playing it. Many hours later he is still enthralled. I've only interrupted once to ask if it was everything he ever dreamt of. He says it's close, so far its amazing. To those people who are giving one star reviews simply because they haven't gotten their keyblade codes yet (its still launch day!), grow up and have some patience. Dont give negative feedback before you even play the game. Wait a while and it will show up. We got ours today and they both work perfectly fine.

This game was really good and was definitely worth the wait. Although there’s a lot of cutscenes and they’re long, the cutscenes are important to watch for the story which is one of the main reasons why the game is so awesome. Graphics are incredible and I would definitely recommend getting this game if you are a kingdom hearts fan.

Much awaited third installment to the franchise lives up to the hype. New worlds, new fighting mechanics, and PS4 upgraded graphics make this must own for the die hard fan. For the casual gamer, you might want to pick up The Story So Far and at least play through KH1 and KH2 before trying to get into the KH3 storyline.

Whether you've waited years for KH3 or are just getting into KH this game is fantastic. From visuals to gameplay and even story it has the level of quality fans of the series have known. The story will be very confusing unless you play all the other games or watch a recap which is what I would recommend.

Was the 13 years worth it? This absolutely lives up to the hype with amazing gameplay and story continuation from the previous games. Everything is top notch from the soundtrack to the visuals etc. Absolutely must play and must have for anyone who played the previous games. It is finally here.

The game play and story are what you'd except from a Kingdom Hearts game. The only issue is that if you hadn't played the previous games, the story in the beginning may be a little confusing. Fortunately, the game comes with a nice summary of what has happened in the previous games.

After completing the game, it is very worth playing as the game play and story is very familiar if you played previous main series of Kingdom Hearts games. Just glad the main series finally game out after all the years.

Love the graphics. The game is a tad bit easy so I would recomend proud mode. The delux version is the way to go, you get a very nice steel book case along with the pin and art book. Game is also good for someone new to the franchise, they recap some stuff (not all) but enough.

Been waiting for this game for over a decade. After all the anticipation it was well worth the wait. Amazing graphics. The community is split on the story, but i personally enjoyed it. Wish there was a little more end game content. Hopefully there will be DLCs.

4 star just cuz Best Buy lost my copy day of release, so I had 2 switch 2 delivery & got the game 2 days after release. The game is great, fast paced. Story is amazing & it concludes in a great way. One thing I didn’t enjoy is that the length of the game is 30h & feels short. I beat it in 50h & still have some side stuff that I’m doing. Nevertheless it’s an entertaining game & must have 4 Kingdom Hearts fans.

Many fans have been waiting much of their life for this game to release, and it wasn't in vain. The visuals, sound, and worlds of Kingdom Hearts 3 do not disappoint. If you are a longtime fan, or someone just wanting to try out the series, give it a chance.

Been waiting for several years to finally play Kingdom Hearts 3 and it definitely lived up to my expectations. It was great to see new worlds and the same gang back to help you in your quest. Expect to put several hours for a full play-through. Recommended!!

It's been over 10 years since I've waited for a 3rd game to appear. It is everything we could hope for. Great graphics, great story line with familiar faces of new Disney characters to meet. Gives a decent range of customization to characters and items.

It's been a long time coming, and it's finally here. This entry requires you to know all other previous entries, which may be a tall order if you're just joining the series. But I think it's worth it to those who've been waiting. Some of the story decisions may be a little puzzling, but it's worth seeing through. There's barely any end game, and the difficulty is easy like vanilla KH2.

From start to finish this game is simply amazing! The plot story. The gameplay. The Disney worlds. The characters. Everything! Old KH fans and even newcomers are sure to enjoy the thrilling and satisfying experience. You won't be disappointed!

Kingdom Hearts 3 took forever to get here and now that it is, I can’t stop playing it. The graphics are amazing, the story is strong, the characters are lovable and this game just shines. If you haven’t played kingdom hearts you need to.

After such a long wait, we get the 3rd part of the Kingdom Hearts saga, and it was worth the wait! The story is great, the gameplay is fun and intuitive, and the characters are fun and interesting. The included art book is nice, too.

Love it, love it, love it! 17 years later the story finally wraps up(not counting RE:MIND) little sad about all the voice actor changes, but it was tolerable and didn't takeaway from the experience!

A fun game for those caught up with the franchise! Enjoyable combat and beautiful graphics. The deluxe edition has a high quality steelbook, the pin is well made, and the artbook, though small, is a fun collectable.

The wait is over. Kingdom Hearts 3 is here and it's pretty dang good. Now let me answer the question everyone probably has: Should you buy it? If you've been playing KH games. Yeah, just finish up the series. If you're interested, I would say you can jump in, but you might be confused. The plot to KH is already confusing and KH3 doesn't really help. If you just want to jump in and beat things up with a giant key while meeting Disney (and now Pixar) characters, then pick it up and ignore the story. ----- The Game itself is fun. There's a lot happening and you'll find yourself beating up a bunch of heartless with a giant ride from Disneyworld. It's just fun! The plot itself is confusing. If you haven't touched Kingdom Hearts before, the plot is a very strange anime-esque storyline. Even after playing all but one game in the series, I am still confused at some moments. It took me some time to even realize why I was running around exploring these worlds in this game. Overall, four out of five. The game is fun, and games should be fun. Plot is strange, but that's nothing new. If you just want to play a KH game, watch a recap of all the games, pick this up and enjoy the interesting blend of Square Enix and Disney
