There are 9 games in the Kingdom Hearts series. Much like Avengers: Infinity War, while you might not need to have watched/played everything that came before, you will only enjoy this experience fully if you know all the backstory and all the characters. In the absence of that knowledge, the game is still extremely enjoyable. Combat is flashy, and the Disney worlds are charming. The story-telling could improve, but it's no different than the other 9 games.

It’s a beautiful game , if you’re a Disney or final Fantasy fan this will be right up your alley. Way to many cut seens, but that’s all Kingdom hearts games. Everything else has been upgrade . A fun game.

I am new to Kingdom Hearts and this game was simply put "amazing." I had my daughter with me and she loved it as well. The graphics are gorgeous and the art direction is flawless for this game. WE got to see some of the Disney and Pixar worlds created for the game while having a total blast with the game-play as well. This was one of the best gaming experiences I've had with my PS4 so far. The game is a JRPG and takes about 30 hours to beat the main story.

The story is superb, the graphics are great and over all an amazing expirence!!! Best entry in the series.

Wait is over. Looks beautiful and plays well. PlayStation 4 pro haven’t noticed any frame skipping or problems. Limited playtime but so far looks great and feels great. Deluxe edition cake with everything. As for the promotion the code was sent out at midnight release day so it was so far back that I had to search for an amazon email. It’s there everyone just look for an amazon email. Great game so far enough old and new to make it worth it.

Sora, Donald and Goofy are off again, and to visit other world and places. Including Toy Story, and Big Hero 6 for a few areas. Controls and things on the PS4 version are same as the final mix and series pack. So should just jump back in if you’ve played the others. The main I would recommend is play Birth by Sleep or else you might miss quite a bit of what’s going on. Since characters from there appear here as well. Overall a fun game.

Having waited almost a 15 years for the sequel to KH3, the Deluxe Edition is the perfect way to finish off the series and complete one's collection. The visuals are absolutely stunning, with great new characters added to the story. It also includes cutscenes to walk you through the entire storyline leading up to KH3, in case you haven't caught up or are new to the series.

This game improves upon it's previous predecessors. Combat is fun and Worlds are Vibrant and Unique. Game for any RPG or Disney Fan with hours of content.

This game has been waited for over 13 years and it’s finally out! Amazing graphics and story line!

Really good game and for $20 extra it comes with a art book, steel case, and pin pretty worth it

The gameplay is super fun and runs really well on PS4 Pro. The Disney Worlds are large and highly interactive. Many secrets and collectibles to find. The Gummi Ship portion is great for those who want to ignore it or want to explore it. It's open and much better then previous Gummi parts. On the story...you'll have to play it yourself!!

I have been a fan of all of the Kingdom Hearts games, and this one definitely is just as fun! I know many reviews mentioned the lack of a harder difficulty level being a drawback, but in my opinion just enjoy the game and the story if you're a fan of the franchise. Sure some aspects of the game are easy, but with so many games to play I enjoyed just playing it through completion and moving on to the next conquest.

Beautiful graphics and an amazing story great for most ages though sometimes gets a hair dark

This was a great end to 13 years of waiting. It's shorter than I thought it would be, but the game play is fun enough to keep playing and there's a lot to do after the credits roll.

I really enjoyed the game. I think it did a good job of wrapping all of the story thread of the Xehanort Saga. The gameplay is really fun; it has all the usual Kingdom Hearts abilities, while adding keyblade transformations, so combat never really gets boring. All the Disney worlds look great and are fun to explore. The content in the Deluxe edition is worth it especially for the nice steelbook and the pin.

Story progresses after over a decade. Game is good though I think the nostalgia factor weighs over the gameplay. Also this collectors edition includes a very pretty Steelbook

I've waited so LONG for this game and it is so amazing!!!!!! The graphics are beautiful, the game play is just as fun as I remember, and best of all IT'S FINALLY HERE! The game seems like it's been dumbed down a bit but I just play on the middle difficulty. The Delux Edition gives you a pretty cool pin, the steelbox which is pretty cool but simple, and the art book that isn't mind blowing but still nice.

If you grew up playing this series this is definitely a must own. The childish charm wore off, and the dialogue is pretty cringe, but all in all it's a very fun game to play.

Waited 12 years for this sequel and it’s well worth the wait, great story and visuals
