A/C arrived in terrible shape!

Our window a/c went out during the 100 plus degree heat wave; we found this one on Best Buy's website & ordered. It came just as shipping said it would. HOWEVER, the box was damaged during shipping, and when we opened the box, the unit itself had several damaged places. The panel that controls temperature was broken loose from its bracket;the panel was completely loose and not attached to anything; the silver vents on the back of the unit had several damaged spots.
We went ahead and installed it in our window, because it was so blistering hot outside that we couldn't stand to stay in our house without it, and the unit itself works fine , but I cannot give more than one star because of the shape it was in when we received it. I do have photos of the damage, and can send if needed. I feel like for as much as we are paying for this, it should not have been in such shape.
