Bought 3 of these 480GB Internal SSDrives for 3 desktop computers I was upgrading. They all formatted, cloned, & worked fine in the computers they were used in.

Purchased this drive as a replacement for a friend who had a failing c: drive. Cloned his drive over to the Kingston and he had a"WOW" moment when his older laptop booted up in 12 seconds. Very happy, highly recommended.

Kingston A400 480 GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive was and is a quality product. I would say it was easy to install and is working like a champion product.

Works as expected. No problems to report. Will check back if anything changes on this. Grabbed two, so I have double the chances to have it break. Would buy again.

Great and quick upgrade for my wife’s old laptop. SSD runs blazing fast compared to old IDE. She is very happy with the new performance on her old laptop, which makes me happy :)

I have bought dozens of these to swap out old SATA drives that died. I have never had an issue with any of them. Solid little drive, performs well in corporate workstations and graphics PCs.

Makes my 8 yo laptop about 8x faster, maybe more. It used to take a while to open apps, browsers - now it does it at fast speed. I can use my laptop for another year or so.

Excellent for running windows, It was changed to my aunt's old computer and the performance changed was well noticeable.

Great SSD hard drive! The price was right for a 480GB one. Works really fast on starting Windows 10 and other programs.

Placed this in an older desktop (actually uses SATA 1). The speed increase on boot up is substantial!

This hard drive works as it should. I've found Kingston and PNY seem to be a little faster than SanDisk- at least with my setup.

The price was reasonable, and compared to other brands, the price was much more lower.

Speeds up load times dramatically. Very good price as well. Fits in most laptops without needing adapter because it is the same fit as a 2.5" HDD. Just Google your model to be sure your harddrive is 2.5". If it is a desktop 3.5" you will need to buy a 3.5" to 2.5" caddy or adapter. Best Buy sells those as well.
