I really liked the indestructible solid metal flash drives from Kingston, but they were never competitive in speed with other brands. The USB 2.0 cost the same as USB 3.1 from others. Until I found this model with the speed of USB 3.1. Even when I tested in on a laptop with USB 2.0, the upload speeds were between 12 and 14.7MB/s. Not bad, comparing to the older models. The flash drive has solid metal construction, which I like. Even the USB plug is of smooth solid metal, without gaps and folds. The colored end is plastic. There is no LED flashing when the drive is in use, but I think not many models use that feature any more. The only downside is the size – it is not as small as the old key-ring flash drives from Kingston. Also the weight of the drive is a bit of a surprise. It is heavy. It gives the feel of solidity, comparing to the plastic drives, but it is almost surrealistically heavy. Like an object from the Inception movie, when you want to check if you are dreaming or not ;).

This is a relatively heavy flashdrive, and expected to be a tough little device. It does not retract or have a cap. Still, I believe it will probably last longer than any other flashdrive I currently own as it is all metal except for the colored plastic lanyard end. Even that is substantial plastic and likely won't break easily. Evidently, this drive was built to be tough,

I got three of these on sale two months ago. Seems to me there was a limit on how many you could get. I bought the maximum. They are fast and do the job well with no overheating. Kingston is a good brand. I like them. I also have some Data Traveler 64 Kingston flash drives. They all have served me well with no complaints.

The capacity is sufficient for its intended use. It's so compact that I think I lost it and will need to spend time searching for it in the house...

A little bulky but love how the different sizes are colored coded.

No doubt the case on this usb device is solid. WIll definately sink to the bottom of your pocket or bag.

This pen drive is a good device for storing the media and data files.

These sticks are great for backing up stuff such as your massive collection of photos; however, don't buy this because you think your getting 10-40 times the speed of a USB 2.0. The reality is Windows is going to limit the transfer speed to something under 12 mbs, so the performance will be no better than a lesser price USB 2.0.

Works great has a solid feel. Haven't used it enough to see how long it holds up
