Rarely get an accurate reading

The thing is always 1-2 full degrees off compared to the braun in-ear thermometer; which I know gives an accurate reading. The app is covenient and easy to use, but at the end of the day, if it isnt accurate, why use it?

I also wanted to share goes over how to clean the device. Sometimes the tip of the sensor can have debris or earwax to interfere with it, which can cause inaccurate readings.

When compared against a digital oral thermometer that reads as a normal temperature, this thing will tell you that you have a fever. if you take several readings in the same ear you can get wildly different results. yes, we followed instructions to the letter. Still has issues.
