We were looking for a low profile microwave, almost went with the Whirlpool model because it was a lot cheaper. After reading reviews for both we went with the KitchenAid. So far we are very happy with the look and quality of this unit. Installation was easy, it looks nice and easy to use. The self venting works well and the light is nice and bright. Would recommend.

Have been using this microwave for 1 week now. You can barely even hear it when it's on which is great since our kitchen, dining room, and living room are all open with one another. The LED lighting underneath is FANTASTIC! Replaced our older over the range (bulky) microwave with this one and am really excited by all of the space I have now for my big pots!!

Microwave looks great. Exhaust fan works great. Sure, the exhaust is a little loud, but you are moving a lot of air, so that's to be expected. However, the cooking cycle itself is excessively loud, like the magnatron is failing. After 32 days of owning this noisy bugger, I decided I need to set up a service appointment. Nope. I don't have a service plan. I was given an opportunity to replace it, but that means uninstalling it, and then driving almost 4 hours from central Maryland to darn near New York City. Best Buy refused to ship me out a new one. Horrible customer service, and for such an expensive microwave. I am really disappointed (almost heartbroken) about the way Best Buy has handled this, and I will never set foot in a Best Buy, or use the website for anything, ever again. Hopefully, Kitchenaid will give me better customer service, as that was their last suggestion (to go back to the manufacturer)

This product was easy to install on my own and works great!

After 2 yrs paint on the inside is flaking off and rusting. Then loud noise when turning off and not heating up. Contacted Whirlpool several times on their customer service email- no response. Finally able to contact whirlpool on instagram and was told that the paint is ONLY guaranteed for 30 days. Absolutely too high priced for something that last a short time!!!

Looks great and heats up food with lots of features

The microwave works fine except the sounds are not audible and volume control won’t increase volume. Factory tech said that the new low profile machines have extremely small speakers. Younger people could hear some low sounds but we are over 60 and can not hear the sounds at all. Very disappointing.
