Beautiful look and powerful and lots of features. Exhaust suction is also strong. Only negative. I didn't expect how low the actual profile is, when I replaced old one. :) Wife, kids and parents who are all around 5ft tall have a hard time reaching in, as it goes under the cabinet.

Very nice build and mostly picks all my heavy spices smell and sometimes I don’t even smell what was being cooked which before this I used to find what was being cocked as I walk-in from outside. 2 options I was not happy with which is Fan power has to go through all level to off from 4 speed, same case with light.

Good fit for the space we needed. Was not too hard to install!

We bought this because my wife wanted a new set of KitchenAid appliances and a low profile microwave. It doesn't seem to cook as fast as our last microwave with the same wattage. It is also missing a feature I like on our last microwave: heating sensor. You could press a button and it would run long enough to heat up the food without having to enter a specific time. I'm also not crazy about having the controls behind the door so you have to open it to access them.

After 2 yrs paint on the inside is flaking off and rusting. Then loud noise when turning off and not heating up. Contacted Whirlpool several times on their customer service email- no response. Finally able to contact whirlpool on instagram and was told that the paint is ONLY guaranteed for 30 days. Absolutely too high priced for something that last a short time!!!

I was very limited to the choices I had for a microwave/hood due to limited space. This KitchenAid fits the bill. Even though it is smaller than most microwave hoods, it fits large plates. I’ve had no issues. The fan is quiet and powerful.

I purchased this unit 17 months ago. I love this microwave for its size and function. Unfortunately, it started making a loud noise yesterday and after 2 uses it stopped heating and I'm 5 months outside of the warranty period. Just spent another $900 for a new one and a 5 year extended warranty.

This Kitchenaid Black Stainless Microwave is phenomenal!

It's okay. Slim design is cool but there are others out here which are betrer for the price.

customer service was great they sent us a rotating ring for the dishes when we found ourse was missing, but soon after buying it the led lights started flickering, i have not had the chance to call customer service and find out we brought this open box and for less than half retail so im not really complaining, when switched onto the 'half power' led setting they do not flicker, otherwise a great micro and super slim to give you more overhead room on the HOB. Auto open door function is good if your hands are full.

Love all the features especially the gentle tone. My old microwave had a fog horn so loud it even scared the birds outside. Plus it helps your memory as you SHOULD remember what you are microwaving. Cudos to Kitchen Aid.

Very nice looking unit, Manuels are incorrect and devoid of information.

More of a well powered oven hood that happens to have a microwave. Suitable for 90% of microwave tasks (popcorn, reheating, and warming). Also the occasional cooking. Shines as a hood with great suction to keep smoke and steam out of our small house.

Don’t let the size fool you, it does a great job for it’s size, I love the fact it has 4 different setting on the fan instead of just low and high.

Looks sleek. Works well. Fan, even on low, is louder than I like for continuous use but works well when cooking.

The only problem for me is the ring that holds the turntable glass the grooves the fits in is not deep enough to hold the ring in. Needs to be a little deeper As it easily moves out of the shallow groove. . Otherwise I do like this product.
