I have had problems with this microwave - it works for a few days, then won't operate at all - a day later, comes back on, works for a few days, off again - had a repair man out and of course it was working when he came. It may need a new control panel - not very happy as this is a brand new microwave only two weeks old

There’s a lot to say about this Kitchenaide low profile microwave. It is very quiet cooking. The fan is very powerful and adjustable with several settings. It has a great workspace light which again has multiple settings. It has a physically sleek appearance. The fact that it’s low profile is amazing. The extra space was important for us so that we could get a gas stove. I didn’t realize how loud our old microwave was until we installed this new Kitchenaide. No real cons except this….this microwave does stick out further than our old microwave by several inches. If Kitchenaide could fix that I think it would be perfect. If depth is an issue for you then I suggest you look at the measurements and use a tape measure to see how much further it sticks out. For us we quickly got used to it and appreciate all the other great features primarily being the extra counter space clearance. Also would like to note that the microwave was damaged upon opening. Best Buy made it very simple to get a replacement. One week later delivery truck showed up with the new microwave and got rid of the damaged one. Can’t complain with their customer service.

Love the looks but is very loud and takes a long time for the door to open.

I feel ripped off! I don't even know where to begin. This awful loud microwave does NOT vent as described, sounds like a semi truck, and has an awful flaw with the center glass plate, it ALWAYS falls off the track! I am just about infuriated with the price I paid for such an awful device. I was totally lied to by the sales person that this microwave would vent like a champ...ABSOLUTELY NOT! I have been ignored by Best Buy from day one so do yourself a favor and stay away from this microwave.

I was skeptical of this new design. Works great and less room to the stove.

Purchased but had to exchange for different model. Needed outside venting.

I have not received this microwave yet so I can’t give you a review. Ordered January 4th hopefully will get it March 18 and they will install it. I hope it will go well or I will be a very unhappy customer.

door was crooked and fan was very loud. i exchanged for full size.

After a year this so called branded microwaves door locking system got failed. And the parts were unavailable for such a big brand for 2-3 months of waiting period ., luckily geek squad saved and got a full refund

Can not hear end of cycle beeper, have to open door to program every thing

I had this delivered and when it arrived it had two major scratches. Unfortunately, there is no simple way to let best buy know about this. It works fine but it is visibly scratched.

Did not include the plate support ring. Had to order it separately

I did not like this microwave at all and went to the store and ordered a GE am much happier with the GE.

This has been a great microwave. It's great for older kitchens (from the 80s etc) where the overhead cabinet is lower. The built-in hinge on the left side is perfect since I have a cabinet on the left that doesn't allow the clearance necessary for most microwaves. It's not as tall as other microwaves but there is nothing I haven't been able to fit into it. It has plenty of power and the fan is strong. A couple things to keep in mind: The fan is loud! It does have several levels so that helps. The buttons are small and take some getting used to. It's necessary to press them slow and deliberately. They're fine now that I'm used to them. It doesn't vent steam very well from the inside. Frequently have to wipe condensation out. This is probably the biggest issue with this unit.

Never worked from the next day of installment waiting for repair or replacement.... Disappointed

This is a combination microwave and oven range hood. It is also one of the most powerful of its kind with 500 CFM Motor Class2 venting strength. If you're not in need of that, there are brands like Whirlpool, or Samsung that offer range hood combos in the $350 range, those have 400 CFM venting strength. Not sure why the extra 100 CFM warrants $400 price increase, maybe cause this is the only one offering 500 CFM that I know of? So if all you need is a microwave, this is way overkill for you.

I absolutely love this low pro microwave. Had 3 yrs now and haven’t had any issues.

The unit fits nicely in our remodeled kitchen. I have one big disappointment and complaint. The keypad has no backlighting. I keep my kitchen softly lit and have to use a small handheld flashlight to see the keypad. Seems like I should not have to this for a $500 appliance.
