Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not yet installed the Microwave. This review is evaluating KitchenAid personnel Product Knowledge. I spoke with no less then 3 KA representatives and each told me the unit contains a spacer kit. The kit would accommodate the opening of my previous KA microwave. It will not. SO in addition to spending $2,600 I also have to special order a $175 spacer. I did not have access to a manual when I order the oven but the one provided clearly states that a special spacer would be required. Evidently the product experts at KA were not trained to review the installation portion of the manual. I now know more than the product experts at KA..PS: Expect to be on hold for a life time.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only got 2.5 years before it failed and I have to replace it. My home warranty service couldn't fix it. It's also not very intuitive on how to use it. For the price and reputation, you'd expect more longevity and a better user manual.
