This KitchenAid Microwave is a dream machine. It's a high quality unit with excellent built-in functions. The logical layout of the controlling programs make it super easy to use. I'd like to thank Will Rochester and the Geek Squad installer Team of Roland & Derrick who did a fine and professional job of getting this unit installed after a disastrous first attempt with a "third party" installer.

Great quality large microwave. It runs very quiet and seems to cook things as evenly as a microwave possibly can. We've used the convection cooking a handful of times. It's an adjustment. Doesn't really cut down the time to cook something like an air fryer does. But it does eliminate the need to remove all my pans from the oven.

The positive reviews were right on target. The microwave is easy to use. With light light pressure different tasks are initiated. It's a pleasure to have the six levels of fan power. Door closes quietly without any effort and I love the gentle sound when a task has been completed. The only negative is this is the first microwave I've bought that didn't have an accompanying cook book and preliminary directions on how to use. I have not used the convection feature yet so do not have an opinion on that aspect.

This is the best microwave EVER! It heats very quickly. Touch functions work perfectly. Cooks beautifully and easy to use. No need for an "Einstein" guide book to operate it! The other brand I had lasted less than 2 years. It was plagued with problems. Not this Kitchenaid. It does everything efficiently and the way it is advertised. Use the convection feature all of the time. My range is a professional series, but I use this microwave convection bake all of the time. It saves energy and time. No need to heat up the big oven, I love my range too, don't get me wrong. But this convection microwave is perfect for smaller tasks. That's why I reinvested in it. Could never trust my other one at all! Easy to clean inside and out. I just can't say enough, especially after being burned by 2 other brands! KITCHENAID has done a great job. They even give you a steamer to use in it to steam your veggies.......and it works perfectly! I have baked scratch pies in it, roasted chicken in it, roasted potatoes in it and they all come out perfect. We looked at this microwave, initially, because it matched the dishwasher we recently purchased. We looked at reviews and compared features and benefits and decided this was a good value, but you never know until you use it on a daily basis. Happy to say that we have not been disappointed. Convection controls took a little time to master, but it's well worth the time to have the convenience of another oven when needed. Stainless steel interior is very nice and easy to clean as well.

This product is wonderful. You do not need read a book to do simple operations. It heats evenly. I can't wait to try the convection.

Overall we are pleased with this microwave as it matches the rest of our kitchenaid appliance suite. I recommend seeing it in-person before purchase as it is very large - we almost returned it before adjusting after a few days. Cook times seem to be longer than our previous 18 year old Frigidaire. Used convec option once which we rendered useless as it takes forever to warm up/cool down. If I were to do it over again, I would purchase the cheaper version.

Have Best Buy install, process to mount was tough for me. The microwave and convection are easy to use, even the alarms are polite. Very Nice!

This looks beautiful in the kitchen and the door closes with a good and solid feel but the microwave itself is not as powerful as my old GE over range unit. The vent fan takes about seven pushes to turn off from full speed which is very annoying. It is also a convection oven, but since it can combine convection with microwave function they have it give you a message that you have to cook on microwave safe dishes. I've tried to get clarification and believe that if you are not using it in a hybrid mode you can use metal pans.

The microwave is quiet and is to use, all though I'm still not sure if you can leave the metal rack in.

Quiet, attractive and efficient. Replaced a standard over-range microwave and am pleased with the versatility of this model.

Solid feel. Quiet. Same wattage as my last LG but seems to take sightly longer to cook items. Much better quality than others of same style. Easy clean.

Larger than I thought. This microwave has more functions than you need. I replaced a small countertop microwave and oven hood with this unit. The fan is efficient and much quieter than my last one. The lighting is very even and covers the stove well. I would definately buy again.
