It can bake "grill", air fry and microwave food. What more can you ask for? No issues with it so far and it's pretty solid.

We wanted to declutter our countertop and got this multi function microwave air fryer. The microwave cooks poorly and uneven. See picture of microwave bacons. Would not recommend as a microwave.

I was unsure if buying such an expensive microwave would be worth it. I loved the feel of the door opening in closing, that is what drew my attention. It didn’t feel like a cheap plastic latch. The power is unreal! I tried softening butter and at the last just pushed the easy on button, it took about 2 seconds for my butter to blow up. Yes I will use the soften feature a lot! Defrosting meat, I attempted chicken and steak since I’ve owned this microwave. It says unwrap prior to starting. I don’t usually unwrap the item before defrosting so maybe that makes a difference. BUT NO RUBBER EDGES!! I’ve tried air fry a few times. It takes about as long as my countertop one. I usually used mine to crisp things like pizza or wings after bringing them home from a restaurant. I did try the oven feature just to say I did. It took 15 or so minutes to preheat and then 12-15 to cook the frozen pizza. But it was good. The tray that comes with the microwave is fabulous. I don’t regret paying this much for a piece that is worth it. It seems to be of great quality. My family is getting used to the door swinging out as it’s longer than the previous ones we have had.

This microwave is very sleek and modern, a nice visual addition to my kitchen. The air fryer function was the biggest draw we had to this microwave, as we were in need of both a new microwave and air fryer. The air fryer works pretty well for what we have put in so far, so I’ve been pleased. I like it comes with a very nice quality air fryer tray. I like it has a steam clean function, and it’s very very quiet when you’re using the regular microwave function. Air fryer is a bit louder, but that’s to be expected. The convect option is nice but not one I need to use as I have a double oven. I did use it once and just be aware it takes some time to preheat. The one complaint is as others have said; the vent fan is incredibly weak. It pulls basically nothing. So that’s disappointing. Other than that I’ve been very pleased and I would recommend it based on my experience!

It's exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a replacement for my old GE microwave that's been failing. I spent a week looking for the best combination microwave/convection oven, and I believe this is it. I've tried all functions but steam so far and they all work incredibly. Microwave - This is more powerful than my old unit and it cooks more evenly so it makes better food faster. Airfry - I cooked nuggets and onion rings and they both turned out sizzley and awesome. Convection - I baked biscuits in 2/3 the time of my old air fryer without the need to flip them. The blower is 100CFM stronger than most any other option so it helps get the smoke out better. Not only all that but this is a large microwave with a shelf that lets you cook a large amount of food at once. I haven't made it through all of the functions but I have 0 complaints so far. If you can get this open box for 1/2 price like I did it's a steal. At full price it's still a great value.

We have had this microwave for a little over a month. My husband and son removed our previous microwave and installed this one in under an hour. It is heavy so don't try doing this without at least 2 people. So far we have used the convection bake to cook cornbread and lasagna, the air fry option to cook frozen & homemade fries, chicken wings, chicken fingers, and pizza to name a few, and the standard microwave setting to reheat a variety of items. Everything has turned out great. The various pieces, as well as the microwave itself, is easy to clean. I hated the build-up of all our other air fryers and this does not happen with this product. I read a number of reviews mentioning the wide door. This was helpful and made us aware of this before purchasing. I love all the options - preprogrammed - and the Manual options for each form of cooking. In my experience it is simple to use.

I recently bought the KitchenAid Air Fry Microwave in stainless steel and it's fantastic! The stainless steel color looks amazing in my kitchen - very sleek and modern. But the best part is definitely the air fry feature. It's so easy to get that crispy food texture without all the oil. I've used it for fries, chicken, and more, and everything comes out great. Plus, it's healthier, which is a big plus for me. The microwave itself works really well too. It heats up food evenly and quickly. The touch controls are simple to use, and it's not too big, so it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. Cleaning is super easy - just a quick wipe down and it's good as new. It's a little slower than a regular air fryer, but having a microwave and air fryer in one is worth it for the space savings. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. It looks good, cooks well, and is super convenient. Highly recommend it!

This appliance does it all! Microwave, convection oven, and air fryer! Comes with a large steaming basket, air fryer rack, and directions. Plus a laminated quick guide which is extremely helpful the first few times you use it! It runs quietly, and the vent is really strong! I highly recommend!

    Three devices in one!

Caught this on sale and couldn't pass it up. Having a multifunction device instead of three is a huge plus for me. Of course it microwaves and does an exceptional job at that. Even using functions like steam are menu driven so it takes the guess work out of cooking. So on top of being a microwave it is also an air fryer! IKR!! I've done french fries and chicken wings and they came out just as good as my standalone air fryer. Lastly, if you need a mini oven it does that too. It is convection and I will say it did take a bit of time to heat up for such a small over but I was able to make a pizza that came out perfect. Work of caution though, attempting to microwave after using the oven or air fryer is not recommended. Need to let it cool down before you do. I just left the door open and it didn't take long. Also, remember that you need to treat it just like and oven when taking things out. Overall, it is extremely easy to use, looks amazing and preforms beyond expectation.

Look nice and pricy, take longer to heat and cook

It takes longer to heat up food comparing with GE micro hood of what I used to have. Temperature selection for air dry is so limited. Only 400 and 425 Fahrenheit to choose is kind of odd, and it takes too long to get my french fries done. It took more than an hour to have 2 servings of french fried done right., and that was kind of disappointing as it was not saving me time. It takes longer for connection bake also. Another annoying issue was that the timer got cancelled out if concurrently heating up food and the door is opened when food is done heating. The steamer feature works nicely and I like that. I am still experiencing other features as it’s still new to me.

Weve used LG, and Samsung in the past. They do not hold a candle to this new kitchaid. You can see the quality in every aspect of this microwave. Most importantly it FEELs like a solid item compared to everything else weve looked at. Had more festures than you can imagine.
