Its a good quiet microwave and oven works good as well.

Our 10+ year old Whi****ol microwave bit the dust just before Christmas. We had already remodeled our kitchen with this series of KitchenAid oven, warming drawer & induction cooktop. Everything now matches and this unit is sooooo much quieter than our old one, we can hardly tell when it's on. Cooking end chime is pleasant and quiet, great stainless interior, nice controls, HUGE door.

The KitchenAid convection microwave that we purchased is a wonderful replacement of our previous model/brand. The cooking time of most foods has been reduced. The control panel along the bottom of the door, is well integrated with the overall esthetics. The exhaust fan has 6[six] settings which are powerful. The microwave came with a Steamer bowl/container which is a bonus. Pleasant chime when foods are done, alert you rather than an annoying sound. Overall we are very happy with our microwave. Careful research was our key this time! Thanks

Do not purchase this microwave because it’s a waste of money. I receive a message stating open door / close door and the microwave simply will not start. Yes, the door is closed but still no success and customer service was useless. I tried to order parts but they didn’t find this part to ship me. I start reading reviews and found this same issue with the exact microwave has been a problem for years. Please keep your money and forget this microwave no matter how great it looks. This was too much money to pay for a microwave that only last 2 1/2 years. Sad part, it stop working at the beginning of the pandemic and I couldn’t make popcorn or hot chocolate. It’s not a two star, but they won’t let you select one star. Total waste of money.

I love this microwave/convection oven. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. Excellent product.

It is a great microwave, the sensor cook works perfect, potatoes come out nice. The oven bakes great. The ventilation fan is strong. The only thing i do not like is the door is so large when you open it you have to move back, the door is huge. It sounds stupid but if you see it on display you will see what I mean.

We had purchased all the kitchenaid appliances except for a microwave earlier in 2020.. then the old microwave started acting up... did some comparison shopping and decided on this unit.. what a feature filled, beautiful unit.. love the chimes, options, and look of this unit! Super happy with it!

This microwave is what I needed. Quite at 40DB when I measured it, but not sure what is the rating. BUT, I simply love it.

This microwave is bigger than it looks. Huge cavity with easy to read controls on the front but be careful when you open the door because the entire front opens. Very deceptive but surprising, one I think you will like

This microwave is fantastic! It is quiet, heats up food very well, and looks great. I love how easy it is to clean and all of the functionality. Installation was clear, and I have had no issues since. Would definitely recommend.

Product is nice but when I opened it from it's packaging there was a huge dent in the side. Still worked so it was installed

I replaced my 2008 model KHHC2090SS-2 with this model on 1-11-2020. My 2008 model worked beautifully for 11 years. I could put 4 boiling pots on my stovetop at the same time and the vent removed every drop of steam. With this model I can’t even put one boiling pot on the stovetop with the fan on its highest setting the 2/3rds of the microwave front is drenched and dripping. The air blows strongly out of the exhaust on top but the vents underneath won’t even hold a paper towel or the thinnest napkin. I contacted Kitchenaid and they sent a local service tech out. He looked at it and said nothing he could do. Best Buy tech said sorry that’s just how they are. I can’t accept that answer especially when my 11 year old microwave performed amazingly. Microwave is 1 month old today and I can’t get support from Kitchenaid or Best Buy. Needless to say I am very disappointed and unhappy with this purchase.

Bought this KitchenAid Microwave for Christmas for my wife and in 3 months it stopped working. It started to display an open/close door error. We would open and close the door repeatedly and still the error. The first repair man came out and replaced the latch in the door. It worked for about one day and then the same error again. The latest error is that the display goes haywire and lights up everything on the display panel like it has a problem with the motherboard or something (see picture). We are now onto our second repair. When we call KitchenAid to report the problem they refuse to replace the microwave and instead try to push a $235 extended warranty plan. This is the first KitchenAid appliance we have had, would not recommend them and will not be buying anymore KitchenAid products!

We really like the controls along the bottom of the microwave. The display is super easy to read. Controls are simple and straightforward. Stainless is the way to go!

We purchased this microwave as soon as it came out. We were excited about the convection oven aspect along with the sensors. It was between this and the GE. I had heard so many good things about the GE but we decided to go with this because of the reviews and the looks (it is a BEAUTY).........but sadly enough it does not live up to its name or style. 1. We never use the convection oven even though we bought it for that very reason. Why?? It takes close to 15 minutes to warm up for convection then you can use that function. That is ridiculous! I can cook almost immediately in my toaster oven which actually cooks. So aggravating!!! Spend $1000 and don't even use the main function. 2. The sensor function doesn't work. No matter how many times I have tried softening butter it does not work. You have to use the soften function almost 3 times to get it to soften and you have to make sure that you don't melt it. Pretty much all sensor options are worthless. Conclusion: Pros - This is a beautiful microwave. It does basic microwave functions without issues. Cons- Convection feature is worthless. Sensor feature is worthless. This microwave is worth $300-$400 because of the looks and name other than that it is an overpriced appliance

This microwave is very stylish, and feels high end. I love all the features, very pleased with it.

Great microwave for the price. Replaced my 16 year old KitchenAid that served us well. Has all the functions of higher priced microwaves for less. Convection function is very handy.
