This is spectacular! The quality and the beauty is amazing

I bought the KitchenAid microwave to replace an older model and I'm so happy that I bought this one. It seems bigger than my old one because the control panel is on the bottom and not the side and the exhaust is on the top instead of the front. It does everything it says and more.

This micro does so many things - the temperature of food is hot, but not blistering (unless you manually put in a cooking time). The time and power settings are automatic if you use the auto selections. The micro opens and closes easily and has a pleasant “done” tune. I spent a lot of money on this thing and I do not regret it!

So far, this is a lovely oven. Haven't used the convection oven yet, but the microwave is very, vey quiet. The popcorn feature produced perfectly done popcorn with no scorching and practically every kernel popped. Excellent build quality. I've only had it a month, so I'm hoping it will be as reliable as it is a pleasure to use.

Old microwave died from a bad mother board. This one had similar dimensions, but added convection oven, which is new for us. Best Buy install team was professional and showed up on time, (These are third party guys so your experience may be different). Well worth the investment, cooks great and convection oven works well for small items.

While this was a nightmare to get delivered, I ABSOLUTELY love this convection microwave! It works fantastic. I am still learning the features on the convection part, but I am very impressed with their very thorough detailed instructions on what to cook and how. I am excited to use it all.

Loved the microwave and convection oven combo. We used both almost every day . Then, 14 months after we purchased it the magnetron went out . It was not covered under warranty. $450 repair cost . That new magnetron came with a 90 day warranty . It lasted 4 months. If you have to have this beautiful appliance, get the extended warranty! I will not be buying another one !Our small Kitchen aide appliances have been absolute workhorses, no problems whatsoever. That and the styling were why I bought the Kitchen Aide Microwave Convection oven. I

More than I would've thought I'd pay for a microwave. However, it's more than just a microwave. For a smaller kitchen, it provides the opportunity for the use of two ovens, rather than one. The convection oven feature is easy to use and remarkably efficient.

The KitchenAid convection microwave is extremely quiet and works very well. The light is bright and there are multiple settings for the exhaust fan. The LCD display does flicker avery 5-10 seconds and this started after only 1 week of use. It doesn't effect the use of the microwave but my concern is that this may lead to a bigger problem later on. KitchenAid was quick to offer service and is sending a service tech to change out the control board so we'll see if that fixes the issue.

We finally installed the unit and it works great. They apparently went on clearance soon after we bought. We could have gotten a new one for the same price. Our loss.

Easy to install, cooks and heats evenly and is easy to clean. I had a Samsung before and the difference is unbelievable, Kitchen Aid is worth every penny. The only slight drawback for me is that the display buttons don’t light up but that is just preference. I even bought this as an open box item and the condition was perfect.

I love the quietness, you can barely hear it run and the door closes quietly as well, no banging shut like many cheap made units. I did not give 5 because the display is very dated, you have to scroll through the menus like an old 1980s phone to find what you need. My previous model was much like a point and click, no scrolling through menus. The convection works good, seems to take a while longer to pre heat than my old Whirlpool Velos Gold.

I read the previous reviews and was a little skeptical to spend this much on a microwave but decided to go for it anyway since I had wanted to upgrade my appliances to Kitchenaid. I bought a Kitchenaid refrigerator first and love it. Next on the list was a microwave, bought this one and Love it!! Pops popcorn perfectly, softens and melts butter perfectly , the glass is a touch glass so no “pressing” buttons which is so nice. Some reviewers complained about not seeing the buttons well because of no backlighting but I can see mine fine so I guess it depends on the light in your kitchen. Other reviewers complained about the fan being loud,no it’s not whisper quiet but it’s certainly an improvement from my loud Frigidaire I had. I haven’t used the convection yet so can’t comment on that but all in all I’m really glad I decided to upgrade to this particular model of Kitchenaid microwave. It’s really a beautiful appliance. FYI this microwave is pretty heavy compared to my old one, definitely a 2 person job.

Our new KitchenAid microwave is easy to use; fits nicely over our KtchenAid stainless steel range and looks great! Even better is that it's easy to use,---and heats and cooks our food stuffs just as we like! Like most over the range micro-wave ovens these days it's a bit taller than they used to be so just make sure you measure your space beforehand to help insure a good fit.

I installed this microwave over my new Viking range as the features far exceeded anything Viking makes. The oven is very quiet and the alert is not obnoxious as most. The install went smoothly as I self-installed. The light is bright and the 6 speed exhaust works well and is fairly quiet.

This microwave is fabulous. I love all of the functions, it can handle both large and small food items, and the crazy part is it has two metal (removable) racks and it doesn’t blow up or catch fire! It blows my mind away and it has accurately cooked, defrosted, steamed, or heated anything and everything I wanted it to. Highly recommend!! You need this in your kitchen!

Works great, easy to understand controls. Lots of presets for different things like popcorn. It came boxed well and free of damage and was easy to install and hang above my range top.
