Currently not working because of something I did but when it was it worked great. They should have backlit buttons though!!!

The unit does convection as well as microwaving, the sensing settings seem to be spot on. And we have so far used it for baking salmon and even softening ice cream(which it did perfectly) I can't recommend this Unit enough.

we were in the market for a microwave and decided why not get a convection one. The kitchenaid was rated very high and read some good reviews. It's been working great and is a lot quieter than our old microwave.

This combination of convection oven and microwave is a revolution in cooking. The most silent and elegant micro-convection product on the market. It's more expensive, yes, but worth it.

Excellent product! Could not be happier. We replaced our builder grade GE microwave with this one and are just blown away by how nice it is. It is a great addition to our kitchen. If you are not handy with tools and don't have another person helping you this thing is hard to install. Think about paying for installation. It is not this unit per se but really just these range units are hard to put in because it is a really awkward installation spot. Overall though really recommend this unit.

This microwave has so many features I'll probably never use them all, but the ones I've tried work perfectly! The convection feature makes a perfect second oven to use on holidays.

This is my fourth review for the KitchenAid ESS appliances that I purchased as a package to remodel our kitchen. I must say that they all look great together! The microwave is really big - seeing a microwave with all that metal inside was disconcerting at first - shouldn't the convection rack come out before using the microwave function? Nope! And speaking of convection - the size of the microwave and the convection setting make this microwave oven into a second oven for cooking casseroles and the like. Very handy! There is a very powerful light that is more than enough to illuminate the range cook top that sits underneath it. We are very happy with our purchase!

This model beats the other brands in price and quality. This is a beefy, top-of-the-line convection microwave. Recommend this size, as it accommodates large items.

I've had this Kitchen Aid microwave for a month and have only good things to say about it. Many complain about the the six step venting control - it's not that hard to hit the button six times. It actually speaks to some of the better features of this machine. There are times when the exhaust is needed in different degrees. I think the timer/done chime is too soft though. Having a convection oven is a great addition to my kitchen. You can tell when using the microwave what a very well made item this is.

This microwave is quiet and love the convection feature. I am still learning how to use every feature but so far so good. The oven vent is also much quieter than my previous vent.

This microwave would have been way out of my price range if it hadn't been on sale. It is a nice quiet unit that seems pretty straight forward to operate. No complaints so far!

This microwave and convection oven is super! All the features are amazing and it is so quiet! KitchenAid did a great job on this one!

I find myself liking this microwave more and more as I use it. Using the sensor features is very easy and it includes cool things like melt or soften butter, which is great for baking and not needing to stare at the microwave. Sometimes things take a bit longer to cook compared to slamming the door shut and hitting 2-3 minutes but the sensor does a good job of reheating things all the way through. Also very important - the beeps and other sounds are actually good. Nothing is annoying. It doesn't play you a song every 15 seconds if you can't get back to the microwave after it finishes. It also looks and feels amazing!

super powerful, cooks perfectly easy to used, nice a luxury look. built in fan is super strong, love that you can bake also. excellent.

Am very pleased with performance of this product. the sensor function works great as well as other functions. It's easy to use.

Love this! Looks amazing (spiffs up our kitchen which is a bit outdated) and works great! My biggest hope was that the convection oven could cook our “Jacks” pizzas (Sunday night family tradition). In this order home, Oven is old and not a convection oven and we were not enjoying the results. Amazingly converts to a convection oven and works great! Also made Christmas cookies in it this season & it was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Great design and feels solid. I anticipate this to last for years, and find it easy to use.

Let me say the only thing I don't like first... I thought this was a "convention-microwave" (similar to a hot air fryer) but this is not! Now the best thing I like:) The exhaust fan is awesome and the light really works! I have never had an over the range unit worked well with exhausting or lighting as good as this one. Beyond that the entire unit is a "tank"... It built solid, tough, and I believe will last many years... It's easy to operate with a quick learning curve

This Frigidaire microwave has been a pleasant surprise. It is replacing a GE profile microwave/convection that was only 3 years old. The Frigidaire is much quieter than than the GE and it seems to reheat foods better than the GE. It was already priced right at around $800.00, which was about $900 less than the GE. It was available the quickest from Best Buy compared to the other big box stores (by about 2weeks). It was on sale when it came in so I got another $300 off. Win-win! The only problem is that I mismeasured it and it was about a 1/4 inch taller so I had to trim some tile to get it installed... that was on me.
