This is a wonderful convection microwave. So many features with an easy to use and simple layout. It is well built and very high quality. You can actually bake and cook regular dishes in this with the convection feature. Way better than the basic one it was replacing.

The BEST microwave EVER!!!!! Never would I have thought that I could write such a review about a microwave. I had a less than 1 yr old Samsung and I replaced with this purchase. Let me say…major difference. Super quiet, easy to use and melts my chocolate to perfection! I replaced my twice replaced Samsung oven range to a KA cooktop and single wall oven, love it. This microwave made the perfect addition and I will next replace my Samsung refrigerator with a KA. Thank you KA for a well designed microwave! It’s a complete experience (I know it sounds weird, but it’s true). Get one, you will not regret it!

Wow! This microwave is big inside. Biggest I've ever seen. The door encompasses the entire front of the appliance. I bought this model because all the touch controls are along the bottom edge on the front of the door. Makes life a tad easier for my wife who is in a wheelchair. Arrived well packed with no damage. This was a replacement microwave and the installation went well. The instructions were very clear and correct. Not hard at all. TIP: Don't even think about installing an over-the-range microwave by yourself! It takes two people. Overall, we really like this microwave. My favorite feature is how quiet it is. You have to be within a few feet to hear it running.

This KitchenAid microwave is a beast. Not just size wise, but being a microwave and a convection oven too. Runs very quite and smooth. We have had it for a month now and have no complaints.

The microwave is easy to use and heats food evenly. The convection oven in it is a bonus and allows us to cook more foods or to not use our oven. It’s also a very beautiful appliance and complaints our kitchen.

Got this to replace an oldie we got with the house. Really like the unit very solid when you close the door. Convection is great, there are times when you need an extra oven or to cook at two different temps. Auto sensing works great for a wide verity of foods. Knocked off one star because of two items, first the add time button is for 1 min. not 30 sec. Second the lowest temp you can set convection at is 250 degrees, would like that to be lower to keep things warm say 170. Otherwise a fantastic microwave. Would buy again.

This thing is crazy quiet. It's just super big. Absolutely gorgeous all chrome everything. The install is super easy. Wish it had a thirty-second option but then I never walk away.

Looks fantastic and very well designed. Makes our old builder grade model seem chincy and small in comparison. The inside is huge, the buttons along the bottom are very easy to use, even for the shorter members of our household.

Great looking appliance excellent quality and performance the best that we ever had

I am really happy with this purchase for our remodel. It is solid. It's very quiet. The only thing that I am not so happy with is cleaning it. When I clean the front of it, I can't lock all the buttons down. The light and the fan don't seem to lock and if you wipe over them they turn on and you then have to press the button five times to get the fan to shut off. Maybe I should pull out the book on this thing. I love it other than that. It works, but it isn't as powerful as my last microwave, but it is defintely better looking. It looks beautiful. We have had this 3 months. Some of the reviews I read said things about an open door message. When it says that hit the cancel button, and that message will go away if the door is in fact closed. Haven't had any issues with it, and my son uses it all the time.

Our old microwave died and we purchased this unit as a replacement - it's amazing how quiet this unit is compared to our old one! Nice and big, doubles as a convection oven. It's got all the bells and whistles!

Sturdy, modern design unit with lots of features such as fan, light sensor cooking and auto convection cook as well as manual. Easy clean interior, easy to use. Functional and nicely designed.

This is my fourth review for the KitchenAid ESS appliances that I purchased as a package to remodel our kitchen. I must say that they all look great together! The microwave is really big - seeing a microwave with all that metal inside was disconcerting at first - shouldn't the convection rack come out before using the microwave function? Nope! And speaking of convection - the size of the microwave and the convection setting make this microwave oven into a second oven for cooking casseroles and the like. Very handy! There is a very powerful light that is more than enough to illuminate the range cook top that sits underneath it. We are very happy with our purchase!

I've had this Kitchen Aid microwave for a month and have only good things to say about it. Many complain about the the six step venting control - it's not that hard to hit the button six times. It actually speaks to some of the better features of this machine. There are times when the exhaust is needed in different degrees. I think the timer/done chime is too soft though. Having a convection oven is a great addition to my kitchen. You can tell when using the microwave what a very well made item this is.

Love this! Looks amazing (spiffs up our kitchen which is a bit outdated) and works great! My biggest hope was that the convection oven could cook our “Jacks” pizzas (Sunday night family tradition). In this order home, Oven is old and not a convection oven and we were not enjoying the results. Amazingly converts to a convection oven and works great! Also made Christmas cookies in it this season & it was wonderful! Highly recommend!

The design and looks will make your kitchen very modern. It has a powerful vent and it’s very quite when running. Easy cleaning, has a stainless steel inside and out.

Purchased this model to replace another KitchenAid microwave that was worn out! Loved it but after a few months I noticed the bottom right corner was slightly bent. The door shut normally but then I found a small black plastic piece that broke off from the bottom inside of door. Now the door seems to "stick" when I open it. Paid a lot of money for this and didn't expect it to fall apart so soon!

The house we live is about 15 years old, we were still using the peace of junk Microwave installed by the builder, so it was time to replace it. This thing is very nice, very solid, does not look or feel cheap. My wife and I had fun install it, we had to modify a little bit the cabinet.
