This is a high quality look and feel product that was a vast improvement over the one it replaced. The touch screen and stainless steel make it very easy to clean. The only things I wish were possible with this product is to control the volume of the alerts. The upside is that the functionality is incredibly quiet, but the alarms are a little too quiet as well. Based on this product, we are probably going to get a matching Kitchenaid range as well.

Purchased this microwave about 6 months ago with a complete Kitchen Suite set. It not only looks fabulous it is very easy to operate. All of the controls are simple, clear and easy as they should be! You will love the inside. It is super large and even has a removable shelf to accommodate cooking 2 things at once. Also the flexibility of having a convection oven is great too! In my new kitchen I did not have the space to have a microwave and a double oven but with this beauty I have to say I don’t miss it at all!

We purchased this to match our other appliances. It looks great and is quiet. We chose this model for the convection oven capability (which we have not used yet) and this model was also on sale at the time. There was a slight learning curve for cooking certain items for us compared to our old microwave - experimentation was needed with power levels and cooking times with a few items. The door is large which may bother some people, and the vent fan automatically turns on in high speed which then requires multiple touches to turn off (which can also be a negative). Overall, we are happy so far...

This is no ordinary microwave oven. With the convection baking it becomes a secondary oven during busy holiday times. With a clean and professional exterior that opens up to a spacious interior. Compared to my prior KitchenAid this unit is much quieter

A great product and very quiet. We really appreciated the convection feature due to a faulty installation of our new double oven/gas range which took four weeks to be replaced. The microwave baked like a full size oven.

Finally I have convection and sensor cooking microwave. Its simply best. Spacious and looks good in my kitchen and got it for good price.

Love this thing. It's a large interior, quiet, and convection is a game changer when dual wall ovens is not an option. My only complaints so far is that the LCD color doesn't match the Kitchen Aid Wall Oven that sits right below it in my kitchen. (One is a blue color and the other is a green color, which seems like an oversight on Kitchen Aid's part) Also, there are not backlit buttons and it is very hard to read the buttons at night.

Looks good, built well and does the job nicely. The convection is okay but that’s not really what we wanted the microwave for. It’s easy to use - manual just punch in the time and hit start. The sensor cooking works really well - we use reheat casserole and plate a lot and it does a great job of heating just the right amount. Overall we’re pleased with this purchase and you can’t go wrong for the price.

This quality of this microwave is fantastic. We do not use all the features as it is mainly just used as a microwave. I have used some of the convection options, but very infrequently. We use to have the GE Advantium and loved it so we wanted something similar. This fits the bill and we are very happy with it.

Sensor cooking works good and very quiet. Use to having the controls down the right side instead of across the bottom which makes the door heavier when opening since entire front opens up. Too many steps to start defrosting and always have to add more time to automatic defrost time. Haven't used the Convection feature.

Love this new microwave! The convection feature, for me, is great! I no longer have to heat up my whole kitchen to bake something for dinner! It is very quiet, and was very easy to figure out with out the manual. My only complaint was that it came with some minor damage, the area underneath, where the filters go, was slightly bent up. When I called customer service, the manufacturer would not do anything about it. It still works, but it does make it quite difficult to get the filters in and out.

This over the range micro/convection seems to be one of the nicest for the money right now. I researched these for weeks before choosing the Kitchenaid. I was told it would work in my space. Unfortunately it did not fit the specs (other than the width) I needed for where my Viking had been. The entire door swings open, so you will need to take that into consideration in your space. You have to back up or stand to side when opening door. We had to send it back without using and start over with our search.

Its an amazing microwave. The build quality is astounding and is rock solid. It has a good set of features and havent tried the convection part yet. I will say that this is a 1000 watt microwave and not a 1200 watt one. As a result, when following microwaving instructions I always add a little time since most instructions are based on a 1200 watt microwave.

When picking out new appliances for our brand new home, we not only wanted something that had quality that matched up with the name, but a product that gave us a matching look that appealed to the eye of our room setup and entertaining. From the fridge, stove, dishwasher, all the way to the microwave, these KitchenAid products deliver on every aspect of what was expected. Effective, sharp looking, super quiet, and priced well for quality.

The sales people were awesome at Best Buy! They recommended this product and I did my reviews. I bought it with my wife, we love it and it's quiet, the fan operation is great six Speed quiet as well. The actual cooking is quiet and it's good size, heavy duty and quality built. It is attractive and really works like I thought. Just wish the buttons all lit up when touched. Only the clock panel lights up.

We replaced our old Maytag convection over-the-range microwave and we are so glad we bought this great oven microwave. This microwave is big bigger then our old but installation was not a problem. We love all the features and the design is so elegant. I would definitely recommend this convection microwave.

I HAD A KITCHENAID ARCHITECT SERIES MICROWAVE BEFORE THIS ONE THAT WAS 10 YEARS OLD AND IT STILL WORKED WELL BUT THE CASE WAS CRACKING. I DECIDED TO GET ANOTHER KITCHENMAID THINKING IT PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE AS GOOD AS MY OLD ONE. IT IS EVEN BETTER!! IT IS QUIET, COOKS EVERYTHING PERFECTLY. HAS ALL THE RIGHT COOKING COMBINATIONS...TELL IT WHAT YOU ARE COOKING AND IT COOKS IT!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Our 15 year old Kitchen Aid Microwave stopped working without warning, and since we used it every day, we needed a new one quickly! Reading reviews of several brands from Consumer Reports and other reputable sources did not give us a clear choice. Many had the same average or slightly above-average ratings. The Kitchen Aid, although not inexpensive, was in a group of higher rated microwaves, so we decided to look at it in person at our local BB store. We were impressed by the design, apparent quality, and features, so we bought it, picked it up at the Warehouse, and started using it in the same day. In the past 6 days, we have reheated leftovers, baked cookies with the convection oven (worked great!), and microwaved potatoes and hot chocolate. The interior is a shiny, easy-to-clean stainless steel, and the exterior is a higher-end stainless with a beautiful, hefty handle. Overall, it's a vast improvement from the 15 year old model, and so far, we are very pleased.

Love the way it looks and its easy to use. Top quality but difficult to install.
