Had someone out to fix it. It came loose again so BB replaced the unit. New unit stopped working after a month. (Drain pump failed rendering the unit and in operable). Spent $30k on one order and has every installation problem you could imagine with Best Buy. Logistically they have ZERO idea what they are doing.

They sold me a heavy, undercounter appliance that needed two people and a dolly to deliver — and now they expect me to drag it into a store for repairs like it’s a toaster. Total scam. If I had known this is how their protection plan worked, I would have never bought from them. I will never buy another product from Best Buy again. Buyers, be warned: once they have your money, you’re on your own.

Do not buy a BEST BUY protection Plan!!

Finally got the right people out and ice maker was leaking all over. Had to call my own repair person bc Best Buy had sold me a protection plan that would not cover a botched install. DO NOT BUY BEST BUY protection plans ever is my advice.
