We have had this refrigerator less than 5 years. There is some sort of water drainage system, and I am not sure if it is from the ice maker or the automatic water dispenser, but the issue in this model, is that the drainage area gets clogged, which then means a large sheet of ice forms on the base of the freezer. This ice has to be chipped out with a utensil that is hard enough to brake the ice up, but not sharp enough to damage the surface of the refrigerator. Everything in the freezer is covered in a coating of frost. They have been out once to fix this and I thought we were good to go. It is doing it again. I know we are in a pandemic, but the repair experience with Best Buy this time around is a nightmare. They are farming out the work to local companies, and let's just say the first time it was scheduled for repair with a confirmation number and order number, they just did not bother to show up. Hours on the phone with them that day, missed work. promises that they were coming and they never did. It was rescheduled and we were just notified with no effort to look at our schedule that it was being rescheduled. The third attempt to get this fixed is tomorrow. I am not holding my breath. The seal to the freezer has now been impacted because of this and my wood floors are getting damaged due to the constant water on the floor. This is really a disappointment. I love the refrigerator as far as features and usability, but the workmanship and service is less than stellar. If Geek Squad were on this it would be better. Thank God I bought the extended warranty. It is almost over so I am wondering if refrigerators need to be replaced every couple of years now. I used to be a die hard, dedicated Best Buy shopper, but after this.....not so sure. Buyer Beware.

Really nice fridge, with a nice storage system. There is a two tier bottom freezer, which is nice for storing away hidden treats from the kids. The top tier of the fridge has nice sliding shelving that accommodates whatever you are currently storing.

Needed a repair the first day..the ice maker was improperly installed at the factory. Water leaking everywhere. The fill tube was in backwards. The door bins are more flimsy than the larger versions of the same refrigerator and almost the same price..19.7 cubic ft. Vs22 cubic ft..Love the look of this refrigerator and bought Kitchenaid as we had a very good experience with our previous refrigerator.

We are very happy with the Kitchen Aid refrigerator. It fits perfect in our limited space. The doors are more heavy duty than the Whirlpool. Also the water sprout in the inside is working out well with the kids. t’s an excellent refrigerator.

Out of all the fridge options out there, I only had 3 options for what I wanted - 30" french door with ice and water. This one, which I ultimately purchased, a Whirlpool and an Ikea model, which is this kitchenaid with different handles (made by Whirlpool corp). I chose this one because of the good reviews for Kitchenaid brand, it's made in the US, and the adjustable shelves allow for many options to configure and store items of various sizes inside. I also like the sleeker look of the front when the water dispenser is located inside the fridge, which this one has. Overall I love it!

Best Buy had the best deal amongst all the stores that carried this refrigerator. It was the only one that fit our dimensions and it works beautifully.

For the open box price of less than $900, this fridge serves its purpose by providing spacious room while also having an adequate design. However, the internal water dispenser is a hassle and unnecessary, as it should be on the outside of the fridge.

We have a house that was built in 1940. Although we have remodeled it over the years the fact remains the space is still a problem at times. Between looking at refrigerators at our local store and having an on site specialist come to our home to work with us we have found that this particular unit is the perfect fit for our kitchen. We have been Best Buy customers for a long time and appreciate how they run their business. Our unit will be delivered & installed in early August.

There's a lot to like about this refrigerator, but the doors don't line up and I often find one of the doors open even after I've closed it. The installers lefts me with a kit to line up the doors, but I'm a 69 year old woman and I can't figure it out. Why didn't they just adjust the doors while they were here? It doesn't make sense to me. I've never had this happen before with any appliance install.

Excellent product. It is a little smaller than my other but getting used to it. Takes a few weeks to settle into its temperature, so be patient needs to get used to its new home.

I really love this refrigerator! It looks small and feature less but once you get it home you will see that this refrigerator has all the same features that a refrigerator double it size has. The inside water dispenser removes the need for all of the ugly controls on the front of the refrigerator. It looks good but does not break the bank!

Has water inside fridge and ice maker inside freezer. Nothing on outside door. Prefer it that way. Price is higher for the smaller sizes - don't know why!!!

Not sure how to rate fridge yet. Fridge ordered in July in white scheduled delivery was August then October then November then December. Cancelled the white and reordered as stainless which was going to get here sooner (like 2 days after ordering). No fridge, yesterday was also supposed to be delivery - no call, email, nothing. This is ridiculous. I’ll never buy an appliance from Best Buy again.
