Have had this for less than 2 years and already have had to pay for service. Frosting over due to poor sealing on both doors. Since I didnt buy the extended service plan I had to pay to bandaid it rather rhan replace the seals on the doors or the doors themselves.

Good looking and it functions, Only installed for three weeks. Ask me in 2 years

Freezer leaks is icing up in the bottom and leaking after one week.

Just arrived here yesterday. So far, so good. It is attractive, and inside it is well lit. New shelving arrangements may take some getting used to, but overall is v nice. 2 Probs: the air fresher and produce preserver were hard to install. Instructions were vague, not easy, could have been better. After 10 min of messing w them, I gave up- cant install. KA can do better here! 2nd problem is Best Buy installers. Paid $55 for install and set up- after they left, I realized the french doors are crooked- off by over 1/8 “ as I measure gap at top of doors and then gap at bottom. Manual says they should be exact same at top and bottom. Right now door isnt sealing properly. I call BB back and now must wait 2 days for installers to come fix it. If you get this, BE SURE to ck the doors for proper fit before installers leave!

We bought this in June. We read the instruction about how to use to water dispenser. We have been dumping water out many many times but our water still taste weird and not drinkable. It got better now. Another big problem is the the refrigerator is not cold enough. I turned it to the max cold but feel like it is not cold. Our veggie turned bad after few days, not fresh. First we thought it was the veggie. I put the veggie closer to the air way so it will get cold enough, but turned out it got frozen and there was ice over our salad. This is a new unit. We would have bought a different band. It is a kitchen aid which is supposed to be one of the best, isn't it!!! We are contacting either bestbuy or kitchen aid to look at it, we hope that it will be no charge.

Would love to rate this product with negative stars if it were possible! We trusted the sales pitch that Kitchenaid is a higher end brand, thus, the quality should be assumed to be excellent. Also the Best Buy reviews rated this fridge as being 90% favored. Well, it is just a bit over two weeks right now & this so-called high end fridge is busted. Making clicking sounds suddenly to which we had to read on the internet (because calling Kitchenaid is useless, they put you on an endless hold-so 'great' customer service too. Hate to think if I were calling about my warranty) that it's caused by a faulty compressor! Some quality this is not. We are going to return this poorly made fridge and look for a different one in a different brand not that any of them nowadays seem to be good overall either. But we need to have a new fridge. In any event, with this really bad experience I would never consider buying another Kitchenaid major appliance nor would I recommend anyone to waste time and good money (because it is higher end so costs more!) to buy any. Another thing we noticed is that for the amount of cubic space it seems alot smaller than the old time traditional type with the freezer above the fridge section. Truly a total miss in all regards I rate this Kitchenaid French door fridge.

I purchased this refrigerator 2 years ago. Very disapointed!!!!!!! The quality of this is the worst!!! I purchased 4 new appliances all Kitchen aid thinking that was a good brand. I guess they went down hill. The drawer already broke long plastic cheap door broke and the seal is already coming unstuck. I am so regretting buying kitchen aid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We found the layout to provide easy access to store and locate food items. Both the water and ice dispensers are convenient and effective

The crisper drawers do not fully close leaving a 1/4 inch opening around the top. The meat/cheese drawer isn’t straight across but is bowed. After complaining about it, a repair man analyzing it, and a second one delivered, we discovered all of this model have the same poor quality workmanship of the drawers. Now trying to find a different brand to buy.
