    The door is light weight and sagged. The latches appeared like they would wear out over time. The unit was damaged in the box, and was only discovered after mounting the unit and finding out the door would not stayed closed.

    delivered but not installed nor old one hauled away. My electrical outlet was 220, not 110 so men would not install in. I signed papers that he showed me it was delivered, that's all. I have 110 and want to have microwave installed. Thank you.

      microwave, you will need to have an electrician adjust the wring to your outlet to allow the installation. KitchenAidBrand

    Bought this with specific dimensions needed. When the item was received at the store the model was the new years model, with different dimensions, and would not fit our space. Returned it the next day.

    I've had the microwave 3-4weeks now. I have nothing but positive things to say. Install was a breeze, instructions were clear and the included templates made everything extremely easy. Now how does she cook? So far to perfection. This replaced a 15-20yr old unit, which was rather unpredictable in its cooking, so it's not a fair comparison. We've used the microwave for daily items ranging from malt-o-meal to reheating steak filet's. It's done everything we've asked of it without any issue what so ever. Oh the Icecream mode that people speak of. It actually works...even with milk free icecream. (hey you never know, those silly almonds could complicate things). This silly microwave has all sorts of special modes and features that I've played with some. The sensor mode uses pure magic and for me has been flawless. I'm thrilled with this microwave.

    Potato on Paperplate caught Fire

    Overall Excellent Microwave. Just be careful when heating potatoes on paper plates. The potato and paper plate caught on fire melting the inside top area and inside of the door window. Since it was only one day old, maybe a fluke, Best Buy accepted it as faulty without question. It's unknown if putting a wet paper towel on the potato before heating it would have prevented this. Overall it's a great product.

    Would give five stars because of the looks, the functions, and the fact it used the same mounting bracket as my ten-year old Whirlpool that it replaced. Installation was a breeze. My only complaint is the dim and rather useless incandescent bulb underneath. It really is so dim it is only good for a nightlight. This is a very modern looking unit- why would you put a dim 15 watt bulb under it??? I tried replacing it with a much brighter LED bulb that is dimmable, but it stays on all the time- you cannot turn it off. Checked this out on the web and yes, some appliances are not designed to take LED bulbs, and they will stay lit. Come on Kitchenaid, get rid of incandescent bulbs!

    Excellent microwave! Easy to set the calendar day and time of day. Like the one push button quick 30 seconds to start the microwave. You can push the 30 seconds button multiple time for additional 30 seconds even in the middle of microwaving.
