I love this fridge!!!!! It's very flexible for storage . I really like the door alarm for when the door is left open too long.

The footprint this unit takes up is small but it's designed well and can fit a lot! The freezer drawers could function better, it's a bit clunky when opening due to the racks. It's quiet enough, the loudest part is the ice maker. It looks great and is sleek but subtle. My unit came with a scratch and dent but Best Buy was quick to help resolve. No complaints here.

Positives: great appearance, compact size, love the professional handle bars. Very practical, good amount of shelving, easy to find things, and light doors. Negatives: fridge had to be set at 42 degrees otherwise, food will freeze. It is advisable to close the left door first to avoid leaving the right door open, alarm can be set up to catch this. You do have to open both doors to pull the middle drawer out. All these things I had read in other reviews;but, I'm still happy with my purchase.

Good size refrigerator for two ppl. Works well. Good quality. Some fingerprints on stainless exterior. Can't open veggie drawer unless both doors are open. My only beef with the fridge.

I like the lighting in the fridge and freezer and the easy to see temp readings for the freezer and fridge. Also have been using the cold filtered water dispenser a lot. There seems to be enough space for the food for a 2-person family in the fridge, but the freezer space is quite small because so much area is taken up by the ice cube storage. I'll look into removing that. The big annoyance, though, is that each time I pull open the freezer drawer the entire unit rolls forward. I don't know if I need to put stops by the wheels or if the installers failed to do something to prevent the movement. Yet another thing to investigate,

Bad design, more for good looks instead of functionality. You have to open the freezer every time you need ice, and refrigerator door every time you want filtered water. Sometimes when you have the freezer door open, ice cubes will fall behind the baskets and later melt on your kitchen floor, or they will prevent your door from closing completely. I have replaced the water hose once for leaking and the tech told me "they all do this". Ice maker does not keep pace for demand from a four person family. The sliding bracket holding one side of the ice tray started sticking and then broke off completely. Getting filtered water means opening the door every time and letting cold air escape. The adjustable door storage boxes are made from thin plastic, and almost all of mine are cracked after just three years. The insulation trim on the doors also started peeling off after the first year. Positives - The water filter is easy to replace. This is the fourth Kitchen Aide fridge I have owned, and the only one I have disliked.

We purchase all new Kitchenaid appliances for our kitchen. While I love the design of the refrigerator and how easy it's to see the food, I'm very disappointed in the quality. I don't think it's just Kitchenaid, but I expected more. My 20 year old Kenmore refrigerator was still fine and much better made - still working in my office. However, we put in 3-4 service calls for the freezer. We couldn't open the freezer all the way, it was freezing over and frozen shut. The repair guy dented it trying to break up the ice. Turned out the rails were bent. Also, the installer didn't connect the water dispenser properly so we had to have them fix that too. Then the plastic shelf in the door broke. Since it's out of its first year warranty, we went through Amex to replace. We got the new one in, but it doesn't fit right - the whole shelf fell off twice breaking all the glass condiment jars all over the kitchen floor. I also notice, my husband has duct taped the rubber gasket to keep in in place. We also have issues with family members not shutting the door all the way. It beeps, but if there not in the room anymore they don't hear it - then the food in the back of the frig freezes. Overall, we're pretty disappointed. We expected a higher quality product from Kitchenaid. Best Buy/Pacific Home was tremendous in the whole process. We had issues with the installation company not measuring properly and they really stepped up to make sure everything was fixed.
