I upgraded to a Kitchen Aid hoping to have improved quality and features. The crispers do not glide smoothly, and will probably break at the plastic parts as the ones did on a regular Whirlpool custom refrig I had. Also the water dispenser is inconveniently located on the left side. There is a "moldy" odor that emits--the serviceman said it was the Paint and would get better. Hasn't yet.
I paid more for this refrig than any I have owned in many years, and it is too small and the freezer is as well.
The middle at the top prevents easy storage of milk cartons, etc. as it is too low.
