Refrigerator shows every smudge and fingerprint. Freezer and refrigerator drawers do not fit properly. After purchasing the optional ice maker we discovered there is no water filter so it is basically useless. Freezer compartment is very small. Considering the cost and the the Kitchen Aide reputation, we expected a much better appliance.

Everything broke after a year!

It's a great looking fridge, but has a host of issues and would only recommend to my worst enemies. Just after the year warranty period passed:
- plastic in-door shelving cracked
- ice started accumulating underneath the freezer drawers and then melting occasionally, leaving puddles on the floor
- the hinge holding the door broke, requiring us to physically lift it up in order to open or close
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
