    Best Dishwasher ever

I would definitely recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking to get another dishwasher and is willing to spend a little extra money. The convenience of the 2-drawer system is unbelievable. One of the major pluses of the design of the this dishwasher is that you can use one drawer at a time or both at the same time, it really is like having 2 dishwashers in one! One of the major advantages is the energy efficiency of this dishwasher because each drawer uses much less electricity and water so you can just wash a few dishes without worrying about wasting water or electricity for a small load! You also put in rinse aid and all our dishes come out spotless. This dishwasher has several wash settings: heavy, normal, quick clean, light china as well as a high temperature option for each of those settings. We use the normal setting with high temp and never have a problem with the dishes getting clean. The only drawback that we noticed when we first got the dishwasher was that it ONLY uses powder detergent. This was a little off-putting because we were so used to liquid. But honestly, after a while, we got used to it and it actually seems to last MUCH longer than using liquid detergent. So it actually saves us more money that way as well. I highly recommend this dishwasher, period. From the convenience and energy-efficiency of the 2-drawer system to the look of the dishwasher itself. This dishwasher comes in stainless steel, which we love and have throughout our kitchen, but you can actually buy different panels for this to customize for your home.

    Interesting design but not practical

This dishwasher has a cool looking design, but unfortunately it is not user-friendly. This is essentially two dishwashers in one - each drawer operates separately. The problem is that each drawer is quite small. My standard size dinner plates hit the top when I closed the drawer. Forget about washing any oversized plates, serving bowls, pots or pans - they won't fit. The layout of each drawer is poor. There is no dedicated area for glasses or other small items and the silverware basket is small. The lining of the drawers is plastic, not stainless steel, so the dishes do not come out fully dried. I ultimately found this unit to be so frustrating that I took it out and replaced it with a traditional-style stainless steel Kitchen Aid unit. I am now much happier. The two-drawer design is simply a novelty that is not practical or user-friendly.

    What a mess

In the four months we have had this dishwasher it has operated correctly for two weeks. We had four service calls for the same issue. Water from the top drawer leaks into the bottom drawer and then has to be manually pumped out with each operation. This is a Fischer-Paykel just rebadged as a Kitchen Aid. See Consumer Reports regarding Fischer-Paykel dishwashers. An absolute nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

    Greatest Dishwasher ever,,,

What ever the load, whatever the mean or dinnerparty, large or small, use one or both drawers, one running while loading the other. You will have to ask the room to be still before you can hear it running. Clean results and Quite, what more can you ask?
