If I could give this prosaic no stars I would. We bought this fridge less than a year ago. After 3 month of owning the fridge, the fridge started making a very loud noise and eventually stoped cooling for days. We contacted the customer service the offered to give us 50 dollars as an apology and told us to use it a grocery credit, instead of offering is a solution or fixing it. Even though the product is in manufactural warranty the company offer is nothing to help back up or fix a less than a year old fridge. After numerous customer service phone calls we were able to reach a manger who sent out someone to lol at the fridge to see what is the problem. They found out that they need to replace a part that is not available and they don’t know when will this part arrive. Now it has been 4 month and our fridge is still not working and the company doesn’t have an estimate on when will the part arrive. We are very very frustrated and can not believe how bad the companies costumer service is and how a brand new 4 thousand dollar fridge can have such loud nice and poor cooling ability and a customer service Ethan doesn’t fix, replace, or have any sort of solution to back their product.

Only has this refrigerator a few days and it replaced a 17 year old frig, but we love it so far. It has a lot of space and features. It is for two people in our household. We particularly like the LED lighting, the ability to adjust the pantry drawer temperature for different types of food storage, the produce preserver movable compartment to maintain fruits/veggies longer, and the overall look of this major appliance. The wooden pull out drawer is very attractive. It has ample freezer space too. Even though it was expensive, we are pleased so far with this purchase,

If you purchase this refrigerator be sure to purchase the extended warranty - you're going to need it! Warning, the manufacturer warranty is only for 1 year. That's not much coverage for a $3,699 frig!
The ice maker went out after just 18 months and now I'm stuck with a service call and associated charges. My wife and I are the only ones living in the house, so the ice maker isn't heavily used.
In my opinion, I would recommend shopping around for a less expensive refrigerator. At least you're not out that much money if it goes out. It's just not worth the additional money for the quality of the product.

This is a very nice refrigerator with a lot of storage space. I was concerned that the counter depth would not give us enough space, but it is well designed and we have more than enough space for our family of 5

Very nice refrigerator but I did have to put in a service call twice within 3 months of purchase to fix very loud noise. Technician though it was just due to loose parts. The second call seemed to fox the issue

The fridge itself is very nice. Looks good, works well. The layout is nice, with ample storage volume.
The build quality is only so-so. The left and right fridge doors don't quite line up, and no amount of adjusting helps.
Incredibly poor reliability, though. The water intake valve (for the water dispenser and ice maker) cracked about 9 months in, and leaked water all over the kitchen floor. Thankfully I was home to catch it, but it was a full pressure leak (not a drip) spewing water all over the place.
Then 14 months after purchase, the fridge stopped cooling. Probably a bad compressor.
Would expect better from a fridge costing nearly $4,000. If you are getting this buy a Geek Squad plan. It will pay for itself.

Like many others I had trouble with the ice maker after a little over a year of use. It would quit making ice after one batch and got very ‘squealy’ when filling with water. After a fair bit of troubleshooting I found a kink in the ice maker supply line that is under the plastic cover on top of the left door hinge which was causing the line to freeze. I’d think this would be pretty common as the line twists a little with every door open.
I was able to buy a replacement water line online (Water Tube Kit Part #PD00059596 | Mfg #W11366500) and install it with a little persuasion. Whatever you do don’t loose the guide wire you leave in place or you’ll be stuck.

The interior of the refrigerator is the best part, its wood interior brings it to a different level of elegant, the led lights and the darker color gives it a elegant look; however, the ice cubes are a nice size not too big or too small. It works very well keeping the food cold. The exterior keeps clean longer from fingerprints. The handles have a nice firm hold.

Have been very happy with this refrigerator. We did a lot of research before purchasing. This one was the biggest for the counter-depth choices. Has lots of space. Only complaint is that it does not make ice fast enough for a family of eight.

The fridge is beautiful and sexy but can not fit a 2 lt of soda or tall bottle of hot sauce. It’s not made for a big family or for kids. However, it works great love the features and am over all happy with it.

Exterior and interior designs are attractive. Like the self closing drawers. Would have preferred that the water dispenser was make of metal instead of plastic. Lighting in freezer compartment is very dim.

I Replaced my KitchenAid refrigerator that stopped making ice after 17 years of running great. Installed this new Kitchenaid myself.
Not difficult if you are comfortable with basic tools and following directions. This has been the best Refrigerator I have owned. ( 2 months so far) Quiet, True to temperature. Tons of room for a counter depth. Makes Ice quickly. It really is one of the more beautiful interiors I've ever seen. Follow directions on purging water and Ice system. ( The Old KitchenAid refrigerator is still running strong in the garage)!

Every thing about this Frig is great except the ice tub is small. The ice dispenser does not stop for a few seconds after pressure is relieved and the water spout is to close to the lever. When you relieve pressure you have to continue to hold your glass there or the spout will shoot water down the front of the frig.

After shopping for a new refrigerator, my wife and I had to have this beauty! As far as looks go, there where only a couple others that compared. The ice maker works good but the storage bin is a little small, not good if you have a large family… The sliding shelf is a kinda useless due to the fact it is not flush with the surrounding shelves when it is extended. However it is great when you want to store tall bottles… Overall this seems to be a really good setup for the wife and I…This is our fourth Kitchen Aid refrigerator and it seems every bit as good as the others..

I am really enjoying our new refrigerator. For a counter depth refrigerator it has a lot of space and great lighting. Also, I love having the freezer below. There is only one reason I did not give it 5 stars and that is because of the Ice Maker. The Ice Maker just simply doesn't put out much ice. Now when we have people over we have to buy ice. I hate that inconvenience. I think I read that when you buy the refrigerator you can include an ice maker in the lower freezer, if that is true I wish we had done that.......then it would be perfect.

We have had our refrigerator for three months now and have been living it. Last night I noticed odd things with the ice maker and this morning the bin is empty. I started reading other reviews and it seems lock clockwork that issues arise with the ice maker. I hope it’s a fluke and we can get Best Buy Geek Squad to fix the issue.
