Perfect size refrigerator, plenty of spaces to choose from for your produce and meats.love the ice maker. Wish the 3 drawers in the fridge would operate better. Otherwise I have no complaints.

I wish this was a made up story, but I purchased this fridge as counter-depth first. It was part of a bundle of appliances for my entire kitchen. I love the look, but the crisper drawer was terrible. The tracks which make it slide in and out don’t fit properly inside the fridge. It either causes the crisper drawer to be set in at an angle and running against the other drawers, or it has to be forced into place, causing it to be too tight to pull out. Either option means the drawer does not open smoothly. I sent back three, yes THREE, different units and they all had the same problem. After all of the exchanges, and finally getting settled in to the counter depth fridge I decided to keep while trying to ignore the peoblem, I had buyer’s remorse and decided to go with this standard depth fridge instead…I was also hoping the drawer would be better on this model. WRONG! Same problem. While Best Buy was very accommodating and helpful throughout this entire drawn-out process, I find it ridiculous that it is designed this way and Kitchen Aid can slap their name on prices on it.

I was looking forward to my new kitchen aid refrigerator and it has been nothing but a nightmare. Our refrigerator came without a power cord and no obvious solution to putting one. I’m surprised at how poorly this refrigerator was made considering the kitchen aid brand is highly respected.

The interior back panel bulges out too much and prevents the middle crisper drawer side rails from locking in place. This makes the middle drawer stick out and not close all the way. Even the installers could not figure out how to attach the side rails without forcefully pushing them against the back panel and bending it against the evaporator coils that's behind it. They said it was a defect and recommended to replace the fridge with another one, which will not be ready until March 2023. Not to mention, the drawers only open half way so you will need to reach for items in the back. The glass shelves have fixed placement and are not adjustable to accommodate taller items. The shelves also do not have raised lips around the edges. So if a spill occurs, nothing will stop the liquid from dripping down the sides. Interior space is pretty small too. The best part of this fridge is probably the water dispenser because it measures the amount of water coming out. However, the light barely shines on the water dispensing side compared to the ice dispensing side. Ice bucket capacity is really small too. I miss my old Jenn Air SxS fridge. This is disappointing for a Kitchenaid appliance.

I waited 4 months for the refrigerator! Back panel has at least 1" opening (looks like it was kicked) and is missing a screw. 10" scratched in the side and doors closed are uneven (impossible to adjust). BB offered to replace refrigerator in December (another 3 moths)!!! or $40 off!!!

It is not fingerprintless and shows smudges. The right handle is slightly higher than the left and looks askew. The water dispenser tray is warped and does not sit flush and the catch tray below it is hard to get out. The interior drawers feel flimsy and are thin. The 2nd shelf drawer guide on the left side has to be wedged in forcefully so the drawer will slide without catching the drawer above it and not sit crooked. The ice cube container is hard to close when you use it with the inside-the-freezer option. Ice cubes dispensing out the frig door send ice chips in cube mode out and onto the floor. It takes a long time to make ice. The frig door bins are hard to push and lock into position when moving them up or down. We wanted to like it but are unfortunately not a fan of the frig.

The snack drawer broke within a year of ownership. Attempts to find replacement parts online were difficult even with the exact model number. The ice holder is poorly insulated and often the ice near the door melts and refreezes into one large block marketing it difficult to dispense through the door. All in all this unit met our needs and the filtered water seems to taste better than tap water.

Beautiful looking fridge that is very easy to organize with plenty of fridge and freezer space. We love it but there have been a few problems or things we dont like. The freezer door gasket came bent out of shape causing the freezer to leak air and frost over. KitchnAid resolved this issue. The ice maker is ok for a family of 2, but if you have 4 people in the house you will never have enough ice because it does not work very fast Some of the inside drawers do not lign up correctly.

Ergonomic beautiful design, very functional and quite. A bit overpriced but overall we’re happy to have this model. Freezer very usable unlike previous model. The drawer design could have been designed better, for the price of the fridge I would think this could have been improved by having a smoother track sliders. Instead the design is poor and drawers are clunky. Over all good fridge

The best side by side refrigerator! Appealing exterior with plenty of space for everything inside. And an ice maker that works!!

Overall pleased with fridge but the slotted cover for the water/ice maker tray is sharp and cut my fingers when cleaning. Drawers don’t feel or sound substantial but otherwise no issues. Time will tell! We waited 6 months after ordering to get this and would not do it again—- trying to complete my Kitchenaid Kitchen in new build!

I like it and hope it last as long as our old one lasted 27 years. It does make a whining noise which at first we thought someone was crying untill we notced it was the refrigerator. The material that they make the places to hold your items in the door and the drawers are much smaller and cheaper made than my old refrigerator of 27 years. The freezer section has less drawer space too. We do love the black stainless steel color.

Ice make works great, good storage, does not show finger prints

Do not buy this. We have fixed the freezer door wiring at the bottom 5 times in less than 2.5 years. It is a poor concept design. The compressor is now out and the freezer door wiring is broken... again. We paid $3,402 with delivery. We were sold on it being "top of the line" before getting into built ins. Pacific Sales won't do anything nor Kitchenaid. SHAME on you Pacific Sales and Kitchenaid!!!

The fridge is working out well. The one thing I don't like about the fridge is that the water nozzle doesn't spin around for dispensing water in larger containers so it's not able to accomadate some of our water bottles. Also the measured fill option isn't as easy to use as my previous Whirlpool fridge. The shape of the ice is different which is nice, it's shaped like a pyramid with a rounded top. Ice maker in the door makes for extra space for food on the top shelf which is nice.

I felt like i had won the lottery! This KitchenAid side by side was priced just for me. Not only that the quality of the refrigerator has been superb. Veggies stay fresh. The overall storage capacity is more than adequate for me, Finally i have that stainless steel exterior that is so easy to maintain. I love the water/ice dispenser. The interest free financial arrangements sealed the deal.

This is a wonderful refrigerator! Plenty of space. Shelves arranged well. In the door ice and water instead of through the door. Attractive unit.

We love our new KitchenAid refrigerator! It is beautiful! It's a tad smaller than our old one, but still very spacious.

A lot of problems with this fridge. I've had this for 3 years. Inside the fridge, there is condensation on the sides and under the shelves. For example, there is condensation under the shelf of the deli drawer and it drips into the food in the drawer. Black mold grows in hard to reach places. I have to frequently empty the entire fridge and clean the inside with bleach. My fridge is not over full and there is plenty of air circulation. I've never had a fridge that did this. My last KitchenAid fridge lasted 15 years. I don't really know what to do about this. I wouldn't recommend it. I want to love it. We use the water and ice everyday, but even the water drips and fills the pan. There is also rust at the bottom of both doors.
