We had a nice GE Profile (circa 2004) at our previous house that was also excellent. We like this one even more because it runs incredibly quiet, has a 3rd rack, adjustable height 2nd rack, and extra spouts for wine glasses/baby bottles (funny dual purpose). Cleaning and drying performance is great, as good or better than our previous excellent unit. Key feature is that it has an electrical heating element (old school but effective) that is a must for drying plastic containers. Nice big utensil tray also good and pretty sturdy racks with sensible spacing and shape. Minor gripe is that the controls could be a tiny bit easier to use. For example, when opening the door after a delay program has been set, it requires re-pushing start but seems like an unneeded extra step. Also cleaning performance on 3rd rack is only good for skinny utensils but big flat things like a spatula is not quite as good. Overall an excellent machine and highly recommended. Note: We had purchased a Bosch Ascentia originally but hated it (deal breakers were no heating element and poorly designed racks) and actually went to the trouble of uninstalling, loading it In our SUV and returning it. I may post a separate review for that unit later.

I have had the dishwasher for about 1 month now and I love it. It is super quiet, you can't even tell when it is running unless you look at the lights. This is the first one I have had with the controls on the top of the door and I like the look. This one has the outside handle, not the recessed handle, but that is no problem for me. It has plenty of room for loading all sizes of dishes. As usual, it takes a few times with the placement to determine the best way to load for your particular needs. I haven't used the bottle wash yet, but I like that it is optional and when not needed the holders fold down so they aren't in the way. I replaced a Bosch dishwasher with this one. People rave about Bosch, but I did not have a good experience with one.

Had good reviews, and has worked great so far (only purchased one month ago). Very quiet, gets dishes very clean. Does take about 3 hrs, and 3rd rack won't dry if you put a lid or something like that that catches a puddle; otherwise, great.

This is an exceptionally quiet dishwasher, which is exactly what we wanted. Have only had this for a week, so not sure if this is just from not understanding how it works, but the drying requires you to put it on prodry, otherwise everything stays wet. I had dishwashers in the past that would dry without an extra heat setting, due to heat of the water or something. Also, the racks/prongs are not as adjustable as I would have liked, but our previous dishwasher was worse, so can't complain, it is an improvement and the utensil basket is humungous. I

The dishwasher itself is awesome. It's so quiet, I hardly know it's even running. Glad they have a convenient light when the cycle is all the way finished. If you get "free" installation, beware that everything must be right otherwise you lose your appointment and have to spend more money to get another person out to access and/or perform the necessary upgrades to fully install the dishwasher. This was my first experience buying a dishwasher/appliance and the first time having it installed. I figured if it's free, why not. Never will I go through this service again. I lost 3 days of work trying to be home for each time someone had to come out and attempt the install until the dishwasher was finally complete. I'm just going to replace all the appliances myself next time versus dealing with the poor experience we had.

The good: so quiet I had to put my ear to the door to make sure it was working. The not great: it takes 3+ hours to run on the normal cycle (but it does have a fast cycle). The long time is not a big deal, though. Dishes are clean. Very happy, especially the quiet.

We’ve had the dishwasher for over a year and still constantly surprised by how quiet it is! The dishes come out sparkling clean. We’ve enjoyed the 3rd rack for silverware and the bottle wash feature.

I replaced an old Kenmore dishwasher with this unit. I am impressed with how quiet the dishwasher runs and how clean the items are after washing. I like the sanitized feature on the unit, and the energy efficiency options.

My wife and I have to turn on the flashlight app to look at the panel to see if it’s running - it’s that quiet. Cleans pretty well. Some spots on the glasses, but better than our last machine. The third rack is handier than I’d imagined.

The dishwasher is perhaps the quietest we have ever owned, I wish the botton rack had movable uprights that holds the dishes or at least be on a slant. The 3rd top row is great for knifes. So far, it will not clean bowls that had buleberries in them, We tried tablets and liquid. I am going back to granular powder as I did in my old one to see if that corrects the problem. It does not matter it takes 3 hours to run as it starts and stops and "soaks" the dishes. But dont worry, you can go to bed and you will NEVER here it!

Better than my old LG that I thought was quit, that is until I ran this unit. It is whisper quiet. The only time I can hear it is when the water is draining into the sinks drain. It gets the dishes spotless clean and dry too. The old LG had a hard time drying dishes, but not this unit. My only issue has been remembering to hit the start button when I close the door, its so quiet that if I forget to hit start I wouldn’t know if it was on or not. The only indicator is the LED light by the right side of the handle. If its blue its on. I have gotten used to it after a few loads. Did I mention its quiet? I mean I really have to wonder if its really working, but its always spotless dishes when its done.

Our old dishwasher started falling apart, so we bought this one. The reviews were great, which I really appreciated. My thoughts: cleans very well. I love the sensor mode and the extra drying option. The dishes are CLEAN and DRY - which is the reason to actually have a dishwasher. This is not marketed as the most “quiet” dishwasher but should be. I seriously can NOT tell if it’s even running. There is a tiny light that turns blue when it’s running (white when complete). My old one had a timer in the control panel to tell me how much longer - but that is the only thing I miss. I like that the very top drawer can be removed sometimes. The water bottle washer is handy for specific kitchen items that need extra cleaning. I’m so happy with this dishwasher!!!!

This KitchenAid dishwasher is amazing! I had a JennAir, and I admit that it was 12 years old, but the improvements are wonderful. Yes, it is super quiet! Yes, it REALLY cleans! Love the silverware container - keeps all the silverware separated, so it always comes out spotless. Love the little 3rd shelf at the top for flat things - spatulas, kitchen shears, etc. When I first used it, I was skeptical about whether the utensils would be clean. Yep! Works great! I can put my All Clad pans in it - no food on them, but, you know, grungy, and they come out shiny clean. This KitchenAid dishwasher is the BEST. I am - let’s just say, over 65 - and have had a bunch of dishwashers. Don't bother wasting your money on anything else!

The dishwasher is incredibly quiet and does a great job cleaning. The menu/settings buttons are on the top edge of the door so make sure you don't have large overhangs on your counter or you'll have to open it quite far to pick your wash settings and start it.

It's honestly impressive. As a dishwasher fan, this exceeds my expectations. I'm proud to say it's an honorable washing machine! I'm so happy with the finish of the product. Love, love, love, the top rack! Very quite and no idea it was running. Dishes are always clean, and don't have to get washed or dried before putting away! That's right, I put them right in the cabinets. Love the round handle grip bar. It's just beautiful, and helps me when attacking household items. BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT! Get it from Best Buy NOW! Pretty awesome to me.

This is by far the quietest dishwasher I have ever seen and not heard! Standing right in front of it you can just barely hear it, if you listen very carefully. The dishes come out spotless. It has three cleaning jets on the top rack that gives your extra dirty items a little power wash. I love it for washing out my smoothie cups. It gets every little stuck on bit of fruit or veggie remains out of the cup. It would be great for baby bottles. The top rack is also adjustable (up or down) to accommodate taller items on the top or bottom rack. That was a handy feature I discovered by accident!

Overall I had a pleasant first experience with BestBuy. Had to replace a faulty dishwasher and decided on this unit, it has lots of room, one of the drawers is adjustable which is nice. It has a 3rd rack for silverware or other utensils. This thing is so quiet I never no if it's running unless I go look at the lights to know where it is at in the cycle or if it's done. BestBuy geek squad installed this in a short time the guys were very professional they had all the tools and showed me what all the settings are and do along with how to clean it. Great first experience. Thanks BestBuy!

We have had the dishwasher for 6 weeks. Setting the buttons correctly took a couple of times before we didn't make mistakes. It is so quiet that I thought it wasn't running the first time and ended up draining it and having to wait so I could reset the start. Buy good detergent. We had some low quality tablets and they did not get things clean. It does a good job cleaning once you get the hang of loading it. I wish the plates stood up straighter so they have more space between them. We really like that the top basket raises and lowers. The bottle jets work well. The handles of our silverware did not fit in the silverware organizer holes so we just took the cover off the baskets. The black stainless is very pretty and does not show fingerprints or water marks.

Extremely quiet appliance. We can hardly hear it running. Does excellent job of washing dishes. Takes longer time to complete full cycle, but it is worth it.

Product performs as advertised; very quiet and good results cleaning. The only downside is that dishes are not always dry when the cycle is complete - even with extended drying activated. In addition, the overall cycle is quite long.
