    Great Dishwasher, Best Buy Helpful

The Best Buy guy in appliances was *really* helpful. He helped us understand the differences and trade-offs between some different models. In particular, Bosch has some unique connections and potentially less thorough drying, but competitive overall. This KitchenAid has more 'standard' connections (less obstructed?) and offered better drying. This thing is whisper quiet and the driest dishes we've ever had, which doesn't mean *zero* drops or moisture, but almost (most moisture is collected in concave utensils, etc., not the fault of the washer). We've only had this a year or two, but the best washer we've had in 14 years. First was Kenmore Elite (ok), then Maytag (decent, better than Kenmore), and now KitchenAid (clearly best). If this one breaks, I'd buy the same model again, no hesitation.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet and efficient. The shelves slide in and out easily. We really enjoy having the third shelf.

This dishwasher seems to do a good job cleaning the dishes. The racks are set up good for loading dishes. Really love the glass cleaning nozzles, could have a couple more. The only negative so far is I wish lower rack had a bit more room, some pans don’t fit do to height. Does take a long time for a load to run. Overall a good dishwasher.

I purchased my new KitchenAid Dishwasher to replace a 20 year old Hotpoint, builders model dishwasher. I read many reviews before choosing this KitchenAid model, and am not disappointed. I've let baked on food sit overnight on my casserole dishes, and let gravy and spaghetti sauce dry on plates and silver ware, just to test out how well this dishwasher works. It's fabulous! I'm in love!!!

I have now had my new KitchenAid dishwasher for approximately 1 month, and (so far) I couldn't be happier. This was not initially my first choice as it is at a fairly high price point, but got a great deal on sale combined with a free install promo running at the time. I have not regretted the choice one bit! Dishes come out clean, and much drier than my previous unit due to the combination of heated dry as well as a fan that helps boost the drying power. (I admit that I do pre-rinse, so my assessment is based off of plates/glasses that are not crusted over with food/drink) Now, only bowls or glasses with concave bottoms are wet. I generally just flip them and let them fully air dry once done. A few other high points: Silence....so quiet. It really is quite amazing as you can barely tell it is running at all! Top rack has a simple push button height adjustment. Got tall pots in the bottom and you can raise the top rack higher. Tall glasses up top and you can drop it down lower to give yourself more upper room for tall items such as wine glasses. 3rd rack up top. Honestly, haven't used this feature much, but would be good for after large gatherings and you have lots of silverware to wash. There really isn't much height, so you're not going to be able to get much in the rack effectively. Interior space is laid out well, so you can fit lots inside. Lots of washing options from the heavy duty pro settings, to the quick wash features. Wash time varies greatly depending on the settings you choose. Definitely lots to love on this unit, and I really hope that this stands the tests of time and gives me many years of dependable usage. Fit and finish is beautiful, and also had a fantastic experience using the Best Buy installers, so no complaints there either. Highly recommend this unit.

This is a smaller dishwasher by a couple of inches to fit into a specific size space. Cleans well, easy to load and so quiet, you need to double check to make sure you turned it on. Dries well for an air dry machine. Needed to purchase to accommodate the space, but really am impressed with performance

This dishwasher is so quiet that if the light did not come on you could not tell it is running. It cleans the dishes extremely well. The only thing I can say bad is that the cycles are long but the performance far outweighs this issue. I would highly recommend this dishwasher!

KitchenAid Continue To Shine In Our Kitchen

Our home originally came with a KitchinAid Dishwasher back in June 2004. After 15 great years of clean dishes, it finally told us we had to get a new unit. I was nervous to try anything else new since our last dishwasher gave us 15 great clean years. After researching, we decided to stick with KitchenAid and boy are we happy we did. Not only are the dishes clean, but they are dryer than I anticipated when the cycle is done. Also, when I'm walking by, I have to take the machines pulse to see if it is operating because it is so quite and still. Thank you KitchenAid Unit 1 for 15 great years. You'll be missed, but the KitchenAid Unit 2 is starting our relationship with lots of wows and cool features. We highly recommend this KitchenAid Dishwasher. P.S. The two young gentlemen who removed Unit 1 and installed Unit 2 were one of the finest delivery gentlemen I ever encountered during my 15 years at this residence. Thank you Best Buy!

Great value for the money. I like the professional handle and look in my kitchen, but what I really notices how quiet the unit operates compared to my old one. Dishes also come out spotless, and there seems to be more room in this one then my old one even though it was the same size.

This KitchenAid dishwasher is extremely quiet and it cleans well. The 3rd rack is great for long utensils. The bottle nozzle function works well. The holder for silverware is taking some getting used to, but does keep spoons from nesting allowing them to get clean.

Had good reviews, and has worked great so far (only purchased one month ago). Very quiet, gets dishes very clean. Does take about 3 hrs, and 3rd rack won't dry if you put a lid or something like that that catches a puddle; otherwise, great.

Replaced a 15 year old Thermador unit with this one. The Thermador was quieter (barely noticeable), and much quicker in its cycle and always sanitized on a normal cycle. This unit requires a high temp wash or sani-rinse to be selected to sanitize. And when those cycles are selected, wash time seems to be 3-4 hours. If you add the extended pro dry the time gets even longer and the drying level is not worth it. So in summary it is a quiet dishwasher, but simply takes too long to wash and dry. Also the extra 3rd rack is useless and I removed it (removal is easy and in the instruction manual) in order to fit taller glasses in the top rack. If you wash dishes at night while you are asleep you won’t notice the extra long cycles but If you wash during the day or like to run a cycle while prepping Thanksgiving dinner or other large meals, do not expect your dishes and pots to be done in time to reuse.
