OK, soap dish doesn't work, top rack rolls out ...

I was so excited about this dishwasher. Unfortunately, the soap dispenser has broken 3 times already and even on the pro wash cycle the dishes don’t clean well.

Dishwasher was defective right out of the box. Water intake valve leaked. Don't like spending $800 on an appliance that doesn't work. Needed longer waste water hose and by the time I got one and installed the appliance, the 15 day return period had expired. Should have gone to Costco in the first place. I'll know better next time.

Very disappointed with the longevity of the dishwasher. It worked great for the first year or so and then start making a loud grinding noise, and now does a poor job of getting dishes clean that it didn’t have a problem with before. Wanted to call for warranty service but was just outside of the one year period, so now we are stuck with a poorly functioning dishwasher that can be heard throughout the whole house. So I guess we will be dishwasher shopping again soon, and I know I will not be purchasing another kitchen aid.

We are so disappointed! Regardless of the cycle we select or the soap we use, dishes and silverware don't get clean. Our silverware now has spots / stains that we cannot remove. Every morning, I have to hand wash the silverware. Very disappointed!

We purchased this dishwasher and it was lousy from the start - Flimsy clips to attach - Does not clean at all - Leaves everything Wet - Not a good product - However BestBuy was the best they could be for customer service - They took care of returning without question - Thank you Bestbuy

My dishwasher doesn't run. I checked some of the basic install things that could have been forgotten and they all seem to be connected ok. This unit can't be returned as it has passed the date. i had to let the unit sit in storage for awhile due to Covid. It has never ran, The unit turns on, runs for about 2-3 minutes than shuts off. This is extremely disappointing especially since I decked my new home out with all KitchenAid, trying to support American Made

I have had this dishwasher for 4 months. It started beeping and blinking and wouldn't work or reset. Now I need a service call. I expected more from Kitchenaid

Less than two years and the water level sensor gasket failed, leaking water onto the floor and ruining the hardwood. Contacted KitchenAid support and they offered to provide parts but only if I used their service technician. Since the price of the tech is more than the part, I declined. Bottom line, appliances actually cost $200-$300 more than their advertised price due to the need to purchase extended warranties because manufacturers are using low quality parts.

The dishwasher is nice but we are still missing a piece we were told was in machine. The front kicker thing we never got. We got a piece for the back. We called got a very rude employee and he told us we were wrong...clearly we aren't because it's too long and all bent. It's not the right piece. The manager was going to get us a new piece for front but we never got a returned phone call.

The electronics in the detergent dispenser unit broke within 5 months. They already have taken almost a week and the parts are not available for the repair. Will never again buy KitchenAid!!! Crappy workmanship, slow repair service.

We have owned this dishwasher for over 2 years. It has never cleaned dishes very well, and now we have resorted to hand washing dishes after they run through. It's been serviced several times and still does now work. I would not recommend buying this model at all.

Spent over $10,000 on new appliances for new construction home. When this Kitchenaid was delivered and professionally installed, it did not work. It fills up but doesn’t drain. Best Buy refused to allow us to exchange. Extremely disappointing! Installed on 6/10/2020.

Our dish washer has not worked since it was delivered. No water going into it. You were supppost to come last week to fix it but you were a no show. Are you forsure going to show up tomorrow April 2 with the other half of my appliances. We have had no freg . Or stove for 2 months. Way before this Virus started. I think you should of brought us a lender. Reminder this was way before this virus started.

I carefully choose KitchenAid after much research. Love the features but control panel broken. Only used 2 times. Still waiting for a new panel. Read other reviews on other sites. This is common.

Top Rack (Flat) is useless, barely fits anything unless it is really flat and does NOT clean well up there. Also, the second rack is now shorter as compared to older units and will not fit a full stemmed wine glass. As well, this unit does not clean very well and takes a LONG time to run a Normal Wash Cycle.

This dishwasher stopped working after approx. 18 months. I did not get the extended warranty because I trusted the brand. I had an electrician confirm that electrical wiring was correct. An appliance repair man said it was most likely the internal control board but the cost to replace wasn’t worth it. Very disappointed.

installed 6 months ago and dishwasher is leaking. bought all the parts they recommended so this would not be an issue and now my floors are warped. I have tried to get someone on the phone and no luck. Half a day trying to get through. Not happy with Best buy at the moment. VERY unhappy with this situation. INstalled on 12/22/2019

Don't buy this piece of junk. After three months, the dishwasher is no longer completes a cycle. Trying to get assistance from KitchenAid is a nightmare.

We replaced our Samsung after years of dissatisfaction and upgraded to this model. Wow, what an upgrade. Our Samsung was not cheap by any means. I paid the same $$$ for it as this unit, but the quality is night and day different. I respect those who have said the racks are subpar or complicated, but I haven't seen better racks in any dishwasher. No sloppiness to what's loaded, you can load dishes backwards or forwards, so not limited to one direction only like mist. Cups stand securely and stuff doesn't get knocked around! There have been complaints of the distance between bottom and middle rack being inefficient! Ummm...the middle rack moves up and down, so not sure what the issue may be. At it's lowest position, the middle rack barely clears a standard sized dinner plate. Seems pretty efficient to me! My wife loves the racks, so that's a home run as far as I'm concerned. We did remove the utensil organizers. Those are a bit much. The unit has been quiet and super efficient to use, so no complaints whatsoever. Dishes come out far cleaner than our previous Samsung, so loving that part too. If it stands the test of time, then it'll be the best dishwasher I've ever owned in 35 years. Check back with in 35 years! LOL!!
