Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this dishwasher a little about 3.5 years ago with the salesperson telling me that it would be a 10 year investment due to it being a top of the line Kitchenaid. I have spent in July of 20 $225.00 replacing the pump as well as $425.00 in December of 21 replacing the motor in it. It still does not work properly as it cuts out in cycle and now trips the breaker. I would be ahead if I just replaced it every couple of years with a cheap dishwasher.

The dishwasher has needed to be serviced twice, this time due to a rubber gasket that is worn out causing the unit to leak water all over my new floor (another cost to repair). Apparently they don't sell the rubber gasket alone leaving us with the only option of paying hundreds of dollars to repair, or to replace the whole dishwasher after only a few years. Very disappointed for a kitchnaid purchase.

Worst service ever

The reason for 1 star is because I have been waiting for 4 months to get the control board and no one has it in stock. Paid top dollar for this dishwasher but not worth anything if you cannot get parts. The part on backorder is the main top control panel W11165145.

BAD MACHINE

Stopped working 6/2020 manufacturers warranty covered replacing multiple components. It’s now 4/2021 and once again it’s beeping at me, switching cycles, and not letting me start or cancel a cycle. Glad we got the extended warranty. 6-10 months doesn’t seem like a great life expectancy for a $800 appliance.

Only load dishes 12" high

I need to do this all the time, so now I'm washing dishes by hand more than I did with my 30 y/o dishwasher. Basically, there's a spinning sprayer right below 2nd rack. If you load dishes too high, this sprayer can't move. So disappointed.

Just when the 1-yr guarantee expires, this piece of crap started failing, leaked water and messed up my hardwood floor. Kitchen aid has sent repair people 4 TIMES!!! to my home and they are NOT able to fix it. not worth the brand or price!!

Awful , racks break all the time, doesn't always turn on unless you hit the button "just right". Loud and doesn't wash well even at the longest cycle. I will be switching out all my appliances for bosch they cost more but you pay for what you get.
