It is a little noisier than I expected (Usually it is very quiet but it makes a weird brushing sound every so often), but the I like the way the racks are designed, and dishes are coming out nice and clean. I had a tough time finding a black dishwasher. I was glad Best Buy had it in stock.

Very quiet dishwasher, cleans very well too

Occasionally hear valves or pumps engaging, but this is minimal and very limited. Overall I bought this because my previous dishwasher was very noisy which is not good for my open floorplan.

Quiet and Functional

Although did have to take back out to adjust leveling adjustment. Upper silverware drawer took a bit of getting used to but is useful. Will remove item basket in lower rack as it is not really used. Unit is super quiet which is a big plus. So far, so good!

Mother & daughter research dishwashers separately

We researched Consumer's Reports for a good value machine and visited several stores to look at them. Our daughter was also buying a dishwasher and chooses machines based upon customer reviews. She chose the same machine without us knowing that she was buying a dishwasher. The machine has met both of our expectations.

Solid machine, like the old days

Maytag lasted less than two years and had to replace the soap dispenser 3 times when I finally had enough. All reviews pointed to the KitchenAid and I am not disappointed.
