Very happy overall but concerned about the fact that the lower dish tray drifts out every time you open the door no matter if there are dishes in it or not

The dishwasher is different, but it is capable. A little smaller than our prior one, but I suspect that it changes with the times.

The dishwasher is so quiet I can't believe it is even running sometimes. I just wish it had more adjusting tines on the second and third shelf. I love the top shelf.

We had an aging dishwasher and decided to parchase this one based on the reviews. When doing research on the dishwasher everyone was raving about the quietnesss of this unit. I cannot agree more, "whisper quiet"....

Three weeks after installation it started making a loud noise. We called Kitchenaid pursuant to the warranty and they sent a repair person out after a few days who diagnosed a broken water pump and broken drain. Would take another week to order parts. Meanwhile, we contacted Best Buy multiple times, talked to multiple supervisors, and were told we were out of luck with them. One of the people hung up on us. We also talked to Kitchenaid, who told us we would have to keep getting this lemon repaired and they wouldn't replace it. Multiple days off work, weeks without use of the dishwasher, and this is the "customer service" we get. Finally my wife researched the email addresses of some Kitchenaid/Whirlpool executives and emailed them. Someone got back to us and said we'd need to get the current dishwater repaired, and if it broke again they would replace it. Great, more days off work and time without a dishwasher to look forward to. No more Kitchenaid/Whirlpool appliances for us, and I've already told friends looking at dishwashers to avoid Kitchenaid. Hope the corporation enjoys the few bucks they got off me for this, cause it's the last.

You can't go wrong with this brand or this product. I purchased an entire kitchen using Kitchenaid appliances. And although pricey, the look and functionality is worth it!

We use or dishwasher once a day with our large family. The extra cleaning features saves us time and money with very little effort. And the black stainless blends into our kitchen cabinetry much nicer.

Needs faster Pro Wash that’s my only request. Would be nice if they would put blue L.E.D.’s when you open the door

This is the best dishwasher I have ever had. I love that I do not have to clean the filter.

Great dish washer so far, don't need to pre-wash the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. Loading the dishes properly is key.

Bought it to replace an older Kenmore dishwasher. This is a super quiet and efficient with water usage. We’re very happy with this purchase.

Cleans the dishes well. Nice drying feature. Quiet. The ball bearing shelves give the unit a good sense of quality.

The dishwasher is good but wish to have dry only function.
